There are tons of color ways that come in mids that don’t come in highs. A great example is the OG taxi highs and the maize mids. Nike gives no love to yellow so the mids are your best choice for black and yellow. It has nothing (or very little) to do with price.

I am still wearing my Air Jordan 1 Tan Suede mids. They are my favorite shoes. I got a lot of compliments even tho I didn't care. It looks good on everything I wear. Man, Im telling you, you don't even feel the quality of the highs on feet, unless its a really high premium made one like pinaccles or maybe Off-White/Diors or sum Mids, I do feel the different types of quality as in SE's can be really comfortable or random kinds of Mids. My mid Jordans are more comfy than my highs. I like the high look better, but rather wear mids, because it actually gives you support/comfort and is in better balance imo

mids are not hated by everyone. they happen to be my FAVORITE. highs and lows aren't for everyone - especially for by body type which is like a pj tucker type shape but im only 5'9" but a smaller version of that body type - thicker and not lanky. highs and lows look good on tall and/or skinny people. the only reason I could understand why they wouldn't be as popular as highs for collectors is bc of their lower resale value.

There's so many J1 Mids SE with "great" (Nike) quality leather nowadays. The 150$ Paris YMCA's that came out a few weeks ago are godly. Build-wise pretty much on-par with my SBB's. Not all Mids are equal.

In my opinion mids are hard af if you love the color way cop em, dirty airforces are okay too, but man brought up the fact that people are gonna think your dirty for wearing them!?😂 HELL NO that’s what these hypebeasts want you to think. New balance are an amazing sneaker that’s been really underrated with and you could pull off great fits with them it’s insane. Finally a designer shoe you have is more of a flex then any hypebeast sneaker out there for the fact that it’s not hyped up.

You're wildin' bro, beater AF1s are the go to always since that's the purpose of having a beater pair of shoes (Or whichever brand/model you chose). I wear my damn shoes since that's kind of the point and I don't clean them often because they all white!! TF I look like cleaning them every week LOL.
