Couldn’t agree more call me old, but I hate Yeezys,crocs, and every other wanna be similar style. I always liked the retro old school look, even though I still like chucks and vans too and once in awhile I’ll rock a Jordan. I always liked the Air Force design for Nike, I just bought these on sale and it I liked the look. I also liked the air maxes design as they look retro inspired as well. When I saw the shoe I felt it was inspired by air forces designs and the Nike SBs which I also like too. The reason I never liked Yeezys cause to me the design is just ugly, for me it’s about comfortability but at the same time it’s about design of the shoe. And a lot of these shoes like Yeezys just looked plain ugly and others just looked too colorful. I always liked vans and chucks cause of the cool old school design but that’s it

There were PLENTY of non-air Forces back in the day. The Quantum Force is the first that comes to mind. Same setup. Force logo on the tongue, just Nike and the Swoosh on the back.

Nice shoe 👟…it reminded of the Air Force 2s initially at first glance(super soft step in comfort). I was kinda disappointed 😔 not seeing any tech but it’s a decent shoe for casual wear/running errands. It also reminds me of something Nike would have priced at $65 a couple years ago

bag the shoes boys, this sneaker is mad crazy and goes with almost all the outfit and looks pretty clean. compliments apart, the comfatability of thr shoe is nice but my pinky toe finger hurts after wearing it a quite long. overally i would rate this sneakers a solid 7.5.

I just stumbled upon these on sale for $69 at Dicks and bought a pair in the red white black colorway. I was impressed with the comfort and looks. They feel like a running shoe comfortwise due to the foam in the midsole and the padded tongue. For the price I think these are a great buy. Honestly they are more comfortable than any of my AF1’s. Durability only time will tell but I’m not concerned.

The black/grey is the best colorway of these! Love the look of the shoe, and a little bummed that it's a budget model with crap materials. These would be a great collab shoe with some upgraded materials and a slightly higher price point.

I think it's more like from the Sky Force line way back in 88 or 89. I had that shoe back then when I was 6th grade. Nike seemed to have made a low cut version of that shoe. That's just what I think of what it reminds me more of.

Great review. I've just ordered two pairs (black/blue) after trying them on. AF1s pinch/rub my foot in the middle around the arch as do the courts. The forces feel wider perhaps so I immediately noticed a difference in comfort for my foot.

Scrap that. After only a week the forces were not breaking in and really tight around the toe box. Not all that in the look department either. So returned both pairs and picked up AF1 grey wolf (back to the future).

I remember you have a review of a peak taichi shoe. Although I never saw or tried it, I would like to recommend the Peak Shaft 910 taichi retro. It has taichi (I don't know how large the taichi but I know it is caged), and it looks a little like the new balance 550.

I bought Full Force Low in blue 3 days ago. When I took a closer look at my shoes yesterday, I noticed that there is a small blemish on the midsole for the transition to the tip. It is a very small area, which is hardly visible, only if you look closer. It looks like it has crumbled off and something was sticking out, so it wasn't flat, this area. I cut off the protruding one with scissors, but it was very small. How can something like this come about? Although I never got anywhere with my shoes. as at minute 8:49 in the back this lint thing that sticks out

Most of these retro 80s look pretty outdated if we're being honest, and it also doesn't help that Nike is too lazy to update them with newer cushioning tech while still maintaining the same retro aesthetic. Like would it kill Nike to add a more comfortable insole and zoom cushioning within the outsole?

Agreed. Nike even messed up the Air Force 1 React by putting the React foam inside of the rubber sole instead of just making the whole midsole soft like the Vans Range shoes. The Air 1 Reacts are almost as stiff and uncomfortable as regular Air Force 1's, and the shoe is not tall enough inside for insoles. Shame. This is why I'll never buy regular AF1's again. Imagine paying $115 to $130 for 40 year old tech. 💀
