Just wondering why bmw was allowed to be so much faster than all the cars for the whole year? Shouldn't it have been bopped like the Mercs were when they were faster? Car racing in general is starting to feel like WWF for a few years now. Nice race and congrats to the winners.

Capitol of motorsport, lol, typical american understatement that we love. Let's be honest, capitol of America would be fitting. In Europe we have our own capitols of racing and plenty of them actually. Le Mans, Spa and Nords are for sure on the same level if not even higher. And no one was interested to watch at the capitol of racing it seems, what kid of venue is this? Only interested in the left turners of Indy and Nascar?

The main reason it was so empty is that it's still a niche in series in comparison to the larger ones like IndyCar and NASCAR. The argument they only care for cars turning left is pretty invalid, it's the fact that something like GTWC America is nowhere near as known as NASCAR, and even then, people usually don't care for either event that much. It's the big events that people know that'll get them in seats, same as IndyCar.
