i just picked up a new 1050Ti for $99 on Woot. Also picked up a Dell Optiplex 7020 SFF i7-4790, 8GB ram and 128 SSD for $240. Im hoping to get similar performance as you. What size power supply are you running?

If the memory will be in dual (2x4GB), the performance will be the same :) @ recording of this benchmark, I had 500W Plus Bronze, but I'm sure that 400W will be ok. I just like to have a 100W reserve (PSU works more quietly). Have fun with a new computer! :)

If in your country AMD RX570 is at the same price (or lower) it is better to take a more efficient RX570. If not, just buy 1050Ti and do not worry, the card will handle all new games, but of course not for Ultra settings.

I think it will be worth it ( have this i5), in games sometimes reaches 100% usage. I've seen some videos and the i7 reaches half use (49%, 60%). In my case will solve the CPU bottleneck

it was more of a graphics card test than a CPU test. so places in games (e.g. swamps in W3) was selected typically for the GPU load, and the CPU was "bored" in most cases.

Maybe it's running on integrated graphics by default, try right clicking and launching it with a dedicated gpu
