GTX 560 Ti Battlefield 3 Ultra Settings

Everything is maxed to ultra in 1080 except for multisampling. Video was recorded at 25fps to keep the size down but my fps using msi afterburner are on the top left of the screen. Without the video recording, my fps are usually 20-30 fps higher.
My specs are:
i5 760 2.8 (OC'd to 3.6 ghz)
8gigs ddr3 1600
1tb 7200 rpm hdd
700 watt psu
GTX 560 Ti

Wow you just saved me $100, was going to get a better card in hopes of running it on these settings, but guess I don't need to, plus for visibility purposes in multiplayer I'm gonna have shadows on medium and Ambient Occlusion on SSAO, which will make it run even faster, thanks for this video that's not from the beta!

What did you use to see the fps? Its not fraps but it looks better :)

@Emanisabeast I'd be tempted to go with one of the K series Intel processors instead of the AMD one if you can afford it. I'd also pick up a solid state drive, it'll help loading times a lot and make your OS feel much snappier (: Also make sure the memory has a high clock speed and the 560 Ti's have at LEAST 1.5GB vram, more and more games now are pushing the 1GB limit so it will really help to have at least 1.5, I'd recommend 2

@PvtLumpkin23 The rest of your system does have a large impact on your fps in games. I have a i5 760 oc'd to 3.0ghz and i also have 8 gigs of ddr3 1600 ram. As for my card. its standard clock is 880mhz and i oc'd it to 900. Every little bit helps

i have gtx 560 Ti and the factory settings are on high. did you overclock yours to perform well on ultra or did u just change to ultra? i have a intel quad core @2,5ghz. please get back to me

@hazeman671 Yeah, the gtx 560ti is a great card. No complaints at all here. It's been able to run everything I've thrown at it no problem. 1080, everything maxed on all my games. The 600 series is coming soon though. I'm temped :D

Nope, no problems at all. Installed the card, plugged in both 6 pin's, and installed the cd it came with. Also, my card is an MSI version. What kind of problem are you having?

Go with the 700w psu just to be safe. Better to have the extra power if something needs it. You don't want anything bottlenecked because of your psu

having an xbox 360 and a ps3 and having been a gamer who has usd all platofrms since the Sinclair days. I can honestly say that when I run the same games on my consoles and my Pc (sandy bridge build) the pc is in another leauge. I use a hd tv for my consoles and my monitor is of similar quality.. games like far cry,halo, CandC, tiger woods, all look so much better on the PC.

@Sphios No need for 600 series... as u say i have this card also and it runs all MAXED out settings... especially a game like BF3 so there is no need for u to buy 600 series for atleast another 2 years. Because it will run the games perfectly fine. then after 2 years look for the best 600 Series. Always buy GPU when it cant run games on High settings. If it can wait till it cant. Saves u money,

The real strength of the PC is that it has far more resources to work with. If you look at the "View Distance" or "Texture Resolution" settings you'll often find the PC is able to render far, far more than consoles. This is because the PC has more resources to work with. The hardware in consoles is actually really, really bad. The only reason they're able to play games well is because the game is the only thing running on the console. If the PC was able to run games standalone you'd be amazed.

console gamers cant accept the truth that our pc's since your release have been kicking your asses.I own 3 consoles but i mainly use them for split screen gaming when my friends and others come over but if you want a total kickass gaming and if your a true gamer buy a gaming pc even if its expensive its totally worth it.... just buy a gaming pc and play bf3 in ultra lets see your jaw drop
