「Nobody (from Kaiju No. 8)」
2024年4月より放送スタートのアニメ『怪獣8号』のエンディングテーマソングをOneRepublic（ワンリパブリック）が担当。フロントマンのライアン・テダーがこのアニメのために書き下ろした楽曲で、『怪獣８号』第2弾PVで一足先に試聴することができる。

「Nobody（怪獣８号 ED テーマ）」を手掛けたライアン・テダーはプロデューサーとしても活躍しており、過去に３度のグラミー賞を受賞。今作はライアンが昨年来日した際に日本で制作を進めた。ライアンは「『怪獣８号』チームに実際に会い、キャラクターや彼らが求めているエネルギーにとてもインスパイアされたんだ。それがこの曲の高揚感と楽しさ、明るさにつながったと思うよ。歌詞は、私の大好きな街、東京で書いたんだ。日本は私の大好きな国だし、今回の曲は日本に沢山インスピレーションを受けているよ。」と語った。

【アニメ『怪獣8号』作品情報】
イントロダクション
日常的に怪獣が人々をおびやかす世界。
怪獣を討伐する「日本防衛隊」への入隊を志していた日比野カフカは、
いつしかその夢を諦め、怪獣専門清掃業で働いていた。
「二人で怪獣を全滅させよう」
かつてそう誓い合った幼馴染の第3部隊隊長・亜白ミナの活躍と、
防衛隊を目指す後輩・市川レノとの出会いをきっかけに再び夢を追い始めるカフカ。
しかしその矢先、謎の小型怪獣によって強大な力をもつ“怪獣に変身”してしまう！
「怪獣８号」と名付けられ日本中から追われる存在になったカフカは、
それでも防衛隊員への夢を諦めず、怪獣災害に立ち向かうのだった――。
