The GTO-VVVF inverter on that train is not from Siemens or Adtranz, it's actually from AEG (Allgemeine Elektricitäts-Gesellschaft) and the type is "GEATRAC DASU 6". Although the inverter itself was made by Adtranz and originally designed by AEG, the GEATRAC was a product line of AEG at the time this train was built because AEG's transportation business didn't merge with Adtranz until 1996. Only the traction motors on this train (model number: 1TB2010-0GA02) come from Siemens.

Are these Inverters controlled by the ADtranz MITRAC DCUs or do they use Drive Control Units developed by AEG? I ask this because at that time ADtranz was developing a new Stator Flux Orientated Control (SFC) algorithm to be used in their DCUs instead of the "typical" Direct Self Control (DSC) algorithm that they've used before. This would make sense, since this Train has no DSC implemented after after asynchronous mode. Instead it uses SFC as it can be clearly heard.
