這期感覺大家開始都對每個歌手更嚴苛了，跳脫舒適圈的歌手並沒唱對味，較在舒適圈的歌手又聽的開始有點疲乏，真是矛盾與兩難， 選歌很重要之外，如何改編也是，不敢大改編，可能擔心被喜歡聽原曲的說亂改，破壞原曲味道。較按照原曲的唱，又可能不適合自己的唱法風格，而且又很難唱得比已經是經典的原曲更好。 覺得這是這期歌手較大的考驗，誰能翻唱成功變成自己的代表曲。所以再次佩服以前【歌手】節目的鄧紫棋、A-Lin...等厲害的歌手，能翻唱紅許多歌，變成自己的歌。 這期我只有凡西亞翻唱史汀的那首歌，有令我覺得蠻成功變成自己的歌。黃宣唱的【思念】也算有點成功，他們都剛好是男歌女唱，女歌男唱，這種選歌通常會更有機會成功，因為男聲跟女聲本來就很難放一起做比較，各自有不一樣好聽的部分。

I didn't know that challenger's name is Rachel. I checked her wiki, she went to Berkeley quite recently, and went to international school in china, but she's still born and raised mostly in China. I know of her because a song she wrote which is really good, was covered in another singing show. I'm saying this because when the guy said she went to Berkley in response to you saying she sound western and asking if she's Chinese, it seems to make sense to you. But based on the English lyrics she wrote on a few of her song, it's quite obvious she's not fluent in English. So I think it's even more impressive that youre questioning whether she's Chinese. Because I tend to get a bit picky about that too, when Chinese singer sings and English song, if it isn't the pronunciation that's bothering me it's just the "vibe" singing style or whatever that I think not too fitting to the English song. Compared to someone like David Tao and LeeHom who was pretty much born raised in western culture, it's really rare for someone who isn't very fluent in English to be able to sing an English song so westernised. I mean many Chinese singers have probably listened to some English pop growing up, but it's different when they're really into the culture or are living in that culture. Also, I don't know why but despite all the praises you have on SunNan and how well he's received, I just can't seem to enjoy his performance. For me it feels very boring. It has been hat way since watching him on the show years ago. I notice how much he improved, but I still can't seem to enjoy it. I listened to this song several time's to see if I haven't given it a fair chance, but I just don't like it. Also I'm familiar with the song, and I think the arrangement he made don't make sense, it's kind of too emotional in a cheesy kind of way, the way he arranged it, there's that kind of cry sound at the beginning that I feel is a little over the top dramatic, and all in all it just makes the song boring. I wish you guy would review the original QiQin's version. There isn't that high and low variations like this one, not to mention SunNan adds a lot of high notes too, and I just feel like he's arranging it to display his vocal technique rather than servicing the song and its lyrics. The original sounds much simpler, but personally I find it profoundly moving.

是因为无意中看到橘老师的点评，才去关注到歌手这个节目。而我也并不看电视，而是节目之后看单曲、看老师这个频道。在这里，滤去伴奏，更能听清楚歌手的演唱，老师的点评经常是那么清晰和可爱，做很多比喻，讲的很详尽透彻，非常喜爱。并且经过老师的点评，能有更多角度欣赏歌曲，也会逐渐发现哪些歌手是真的值得去听。而对于有专业需求的听众，看老师的评语，相信会收获良多。

我最喜歡Whitney Houston，已經是刻在骨髓的喜愛了。因老師的分享去聽Jessie J - I Wanna Dance With Somebody.真的很棒，就像團熊熊燃燒的烈火，個人風格非常強烈。謝謝。 兩個風格似乎不太一樣，Jessie J的比較熾熱成熟，Whitney Houston比較雀躍青澀，但是技巧都超棒耶！ Rozette老師在黃宣和張鈺琪之間的抉擇；在我的感覺就像是張鈺琪像是歌唱界的芭蕾舞，把控的非常好非常美，而黃宣是歌唱界的街舞隨性自在時而驚喜有趣。 那英姐…這集有認真了吧！有好好練歌吧！覺得穩很多，我覺得歌手2024讓那英思考了很多，適合她的風格，還有她的武器殺手鐧 ，資歷如果沒有與時俱進，不進則退，並不能讓她坐穩寶座。

Thats not what she said. She's saying as someone watching the show from episode to episode, his performance did not stand out, because he's doing what hes done before. That's why the better singer so to speak, or the more experienced singers are often the initial 7 in this show. because in a competition for you to get that far with so many performance is much harder, because no matter how good you are, people kinda want to see a different side of you instead of you just singing the thing youre good at over and over. Its the same with American idol, thats why in singing competition the winner are often the more versatile singer. They may not be the best at 1 genre, but they're above average in multiple. Someone like Kelly Clarkson I feel is the best representation. That's why it's usually the others that's not in the first place, that usually have a better career. Except for Kelly Clarkson, she's really good covering all sorts of genre.

I think it's interesting that you talked about how the competitive nature kind of forced the singer to sing out of the box and you get these faouzia and change performances in this episode. But I think it depends on the singer's attitude towards a singing competition. Having watched this show from the first season. There are usually a few types of singers. There are some that's going to pick big/classic songs that are popular, almost all the time, there are some who'd do this picking a variation to show a different side of them, there are some who aren't competitive and just sings songs they like, another would pick songs they feel are meaningful, sort of like promoting good songs kind of agenda, and then there are a few, that picks songs that they like but they know exactly what kind of song works well for them, and don't necessarily pick song outside of their comfort zones if they can't do it well. The show tells a lot about a singer, and that's what I think is so interesting about the show. The risk takers are usually the younger ones, they want to explore their own possibility. But there are just some that are really focused on picking songs that they know would sound good for them, or songs that fits them but they never get a chance to, because they have been known for a certain genre, most of their career. Jessie J for instance, all her song choices are Big classic very popular songs, that clearly would show skill, but at the same time, one might say a safe choice. Then there are people like WangFeng and ZhouShen who challenges and go out of their comfort zone too, pick songs that they were never known for or anyone would expect they sing, but something they can pull off.

Yeah but to be honest, I didn't feel it when she sings paparazzi too. I think rozette is still biased with western music. I don't think her kind of arabic yodel or something was what the song needed. I mean the way rozette often criticise other singers of this song didn't ask for it etc. But watching her videos, she really always appreciate more about the technicalities of the singer, most of the time. Probably just because that's what she does, and she can't help but be analytical, which means have her focus on that before focusing the bigger picture. There are exceptions of course but most of the time. Desert Rain I think is by far her best performance, it was clear when she did that song that she was meant to sing that song.

橘老師在這期講到一點很有趣，真的要你掏錢去買票看表演，會選誰，至目前為止的印象，我一定選黃宣，第二名我會選杭蓋，第三名選橘老師（咦？XD)，但這集的表演，整體上真的是蠻無聊的一集。

以前我很常會快轉老師的講評，不是不喜歡，就是我看影片的習慣 音樂會照正常速度，偏向資訊的部份就快轉 但HELLO，我必須把唱歌的部份快轉，然後感謝橘老師的解讀讓我平心靜氣 很謝謝老師說出演唱者的優秀與不合適，我是唱歌外行，只覺得我喜歡的歌味道都不對了 可是無法說服自己因為演唱者很厲害就得接受

汪應該就是俗說的大白嗓吧，唱歌跟傳遞聲音表情的天賦很相關，但是他又是學音樂創作，音色又跟大紅的JJ很類似，個性若有趣再經營網紅路線其實很討巧。他應該更適合其他類型的音樂節目。

Totally agree re: Faouzia. She did a stellar job but the song just didn't seem to fit, for me either. There were rumours going around that she was going to sing Hello, so I almost wondered if her and Chante switched songs. 😆
