Currently lack of flights back home?
@ini34954 жыл бұрын
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV China still has very strict policy on the international flights, so it's difficult to get a ticket and it's also hardly affordable for normal people. Plus the 14-day quarantine in China is unpredictable, read a lot of horrible stories about it. I believe Guangzhou should be a bit more civilized than some other inland cities, but we never know.... My (parent's) home is at Yuexiu, I grew up there and used to work in Tianhe, so it's good to be able to see the streets even just on KZbin. Thank you!! (P.S. I actually like the older inner city districts much more than the modern and fancy parts like Tianhe or Zhujiang New Town.)

Yeah in Singapore when flights resumed to China, all was okay, until 3-4 days before their flights, the Chinese government asked for certificate of free of covid to be presented 1 day before boarding of flight. A lot of people scrambled to the Chinese embassy to petition why this was required. In Singapore, we don't have purchasable covid testing, meaning you can only get tested if you have a high probability of being infected. This is to preserve the testing needs of the ones that truly need it the most (at that time it was our foreign workers living in dormitory where there was a major outbreak) In any case, our government specially opened a testing centre to cater to this new requirement from the Chinese government. We are truly living in a new normal now 😅
