The kamp looks amazing wow. Each of the enclosures with plants, bushes, rocks looks so amazing. The animals look happy and I’m sure feel safe with all the foliage and not being out in the open with nothing to shield them. The design you have had for the kamp is coming along beautifully. All the new trees plants flowers etc is a nice calm forest. To me it’s like a fresh breath of air seeing it come alive

I would LOVE to see the Kamp have colonies of elongated and yellowfoot tortoises again; fate has already gifted 2 of each! And they seem to do really well in the Kamp’s climate. Chelonians are my favourite reptiles, and I love to see them thriving in naturalistic enclosures. 🐢

It’s absolutely amazing to see Senior Guapo running up to you like a big puppy, he is really doing so well. You should be so so proud of all the hard work yourself, Dr Mike and the PGA team you put in as it has been off amazingly. Petro and Petra’s personalities have really come out even more since they have moved. It's great to see Guapo doing so well. You took such good care of him! Can't wait to see babies ... babies are so cute! The plants are looking really pretty but be careful with the bamboo. That stuff is so invasive and will take over, you can't get rid of it.

My love for Cuban iguanas started in, well, Cuba! I took a trip with some friends to Cuba when I was 14, and we met a man who had a really tame and gentle fully-grown male Cuban iguana, just like Guapo. I guess this guy just took this lizard out with him all the time like he was a dog, he even had his own little dog-style harness and leash. He was such a friendly and gentle lizard that he let 3 of us strangers take a turn holding him, and then the man showed us how he would stay posed in a silly lounging position on his side if he was placed like that. It was a nice, warm sunny day so the lizard seemed content to just bask while being held in the sunlight. Such a cool experience! What an amazing animal 🦎

Like he said sometimes they will take advantage of animal protein in the wild. Like a rotting carcass or something super easy to get if they’re desperate or need it. But they don’t really eat meat.

Hi Kenan, would Guapo benefit from some high quality grass fed ground beef? Sometimes they will grind up organs and the long bones with the ground beef which has lots of health benefits.

Quick Q!! Have you feed him baby defrosted frozen or dead pinkies?? Fat and protein!! I would like to see if he eats those… my uncles old one would eat 3-5 pinkies every 4-5 months.. he said it’s more like a treat.. but a healthier treat for his female green iguana.. so would like to see if yours would eat them… but can’t wait to see if you make that video.. again another great video can’t wait to catch the next one!!!

Maybe Guapo needs a little meat, like day old quail, quail eggs or scrambled eggs. Or just crack an egg over his pellets, I bet he would dig that! ❤❤❤❤. I’ve ready that iguanas are known to rob nests, plus with all his healing he would benefit from the extra protein, fat and minerals. I wonder if he needs iguana probiotics too? 🤔
