Guaranteed Method to Get Recipes from Rummage Pile

Note: Using this method does not increase the odds of you chance to get a recipe it just doesn't allow you to get anything but. The odds of getting a recipe or quest item START at 28.9% for Kilima and 47.6% for Bahari. And these odds decrease everytime you get a recipe and quest item. Just FYI. and this method is still working as of 0.179. UPDATE: IF YOU HAVE WORMS IN YOUR AMMO POUCH YOU COULD POSSIBLY GET THEM FROM THE PILES.

I hat to restart the game multiple times to get a recipe out of the rummage pile as well. But you know what: the only thing this hack does ist telling you if or if not there is a recipe in there. Because you can pick it up even when your inventory is full. So why stuffing it with furniture. I wait until my inventory is full anyway, then go to the pile to see if I can pick a recipe up. Stuffing the inventory with furniture is completely unnecessary.

If the pile says inventory too full, that means there is something physical it is giving away….start server hopping until it give you a recipe….wash, rinse, repeat until you get a recipe

I’ve used this method a few times it’s worked but not always and I get sick of switching servers and or logging in and out and just take what I can get in the end. 😂

Yeah, I've only got a couple recipes left to get and I don't do this everyday like I did at first. My chances are down to 2% and 4% of getting them. I mostly just do it when watching something.

google "Palia rummage pile" and you will get to a site that updates the rummage pile spots everyday.

You should always be able to loot the rummage pile. Use the tracker linked in the description if you need help finding it.

Does what is in your inventory really matter? A recipe doesn’t take up space, so could you pick it up regardless but just not be able to loot common items?

So what is in your inventory matters to an extent. Ex: if you have worms in your inventory you could possibly get worms from the rummage pile. You just have to make sure there's nothing in your inventory you could possibly get from the rummage pile.

Ok i just tried this trick and it works 😂... but it is not working for me on the kilima rummage tho idk why i have restart and change the server but it is still same "inventory full" so cant pick up. But on bahari i was able too and i get to finished zeki quest by getting masthead. 😊 thanks for this trick

SO it looks like the Poke Bowl recipe was a Maji Market 2023 exclusive. All of the recipes you'll get from rummage piles will be for furniture

What issues did you have with it? The thing is this method can't force you to get recipes it just doesn't allow you to get anything but recipes or quest items. It took me like 2 hours until I got my recipes today. Sometimes you get unlucky.

Edit: disregard, I had thought Kilima required an item pickup before a chance of recipe but only the recipes are the drops. My kilima luck has just not been as good as getting Bahari drops every time. Kilima may require more server hopping or just more testing in general.

The odds are pretty slim, especially if you've already gotten a few recipes. BUT we've had a couple updates since I put this out. I could have gotten patched. I'll try it tonight on stream

it wouldn't let me loot since my inventory was full but i was able to get around this by mashing F to loot while i was on the loading screen to load back into the game, can confirm it works, i got a flotsam conch recipe
