Is it better to eat 2 small snacks during lent , instead of 2 small meals. For example, a banana. A piece of bread , cheese etc.

I really love the camera angle with the beautiful statue of our blessed mother with baby Jesus on that decorative pillar. Fr.Jenkins is looking healthy and well now, too. Set looking fine. Another great show thank you and may God continue to protect and send u graces.

I admire the new set very much. So dignified. We're in England and we keep you and your apostolate in our prayers every day.

Many thanks to Father Jenkins for addressing the fasting question. I never know what to do. Most days I only eat two meals bc I've never had a big appetite. I do occasionally have problems with hypoglycemia - low blood sugar - and always have since I was young. It's hard to know what to do since I already eat nominally. I try to fast by NOT eating something that is really looking attractive to me in a given moment and not allow myself that item in that moment or day. I also struggle with a husband who wants his big meal at night....AND he's a meat cutter 🤦♀️ pray for us, please. Thank you for the videos. They're very helpful filling in the gaps of a horrendously inadequate 1970s catechism.

You can if need be fast from non-food sources. I also have hypoglycemia and hypothyroidism and I already have to eat nominal amounts. I also eat fish rather than meat. Plus I’m over 60 years old so I’m exempt from the fast but I still try to keep whatever fast that I can.

The obelisk in Rome is similar to the George Washington Monument in Washington DC. It’s also an obelisk.

50 mintue mark is great focal points for lent approaching soon. It's very true how important lent is for the development of our spiritual life. Jesus had a poor birth and severe early childhood having to remain in exile from the comforts of his homeland as enemies sought to kill him. Not even God pampered himself or his human patents in his life even though he had the power to do so. Of course this is so the evil ones could not find or stop him achieving his mission. We too need to model our Lord and humble Mary in their quiet methods of going about Gods work. Without any fame, pomp, demands, distraction, comforts, excesses. Deny one's self daily to keep our flesh in check.

I'm greatful to Father Jenkins for exploring the fasting aspect because these days many of us are on struct elimination diets and have metabolic diseases to balance and already eat little and still seek to fast. So it's helpful to remind us about all these subtle details.

My favorite topic, Guardian Angels. I now acknowledge my angel all the time. I say that prayer along with others as my nightly ritual. The thing with Guardian Angels, is they respond immediately. After almost being taken out by two semis on the freeway and at the last few seconds realized I have to stop. Which isn't always what you do on a on ramp. I knew that I was guided. Always pray and talk to them and recognize they are your best friend. 😇

I say the St. Michael Prayer every night at bedtime and I also pray it before I start my car to go somewhere.

Isn’t the George Washington Monument an obelisk?

Years ago I had a similar experience. Except I was driving on a rural two lane highway and coming from the opposite direction was a line of cars and one car proceeded to pass the car in front of him . I suddenly felt like a hand grabbing my steering wheel and pulling my car off the road just in time to avoid a collision. I was alone in the car at the time. 😮

Bishop Gerard de Laurier didn't doubt the validity. Niether did that bishop from Brazil that assisted Lefevre. Cant think of his name right now. That's good enough for me. God uses the weak to confound the wicked
@DT-cz2sl7 ай бұрын
Bishop de laurier of coarse was a theologian for Pope pius xii. Bishop Carmona, when asked about the sanity of Bishop Thuc, said no crazy man would lay his hands-on him. Carmona was originally ordained in 1939, so he was definitely a catholic priest and knew his theology. He was in charge of seminaries in mexico. These guys really should quit grinding that axe. It's getting worn down

Both were true bishops. They maybe weak but they were not heretic or apostate...They were used by God to continue His Church...and their were one or two or three true bishops that were consecrated by them inspite of their weaknesses or pickle mindedness or stupidity, childishness, etc. Bishop de Lauriers was validly consecrated in a non una cum Mass for he corrected instantly the mistake of the consecrator Bishop (It was definitely a mistake for before the consecration of de Lauriers, he was convinced that the Archbishop's position was sedeprivationism or else he would not allow him to be consecrated.)
