Epic Tip for Myth: You can feed items to possessed weapons to make them stronger. They gain the stats of the items that you feed it. It can lead to some insane builds which can even kill bosses in one combo. For example I remember making a scythe with life steal, wrath steal, frost damage, critical chance and critical damage which was insane.

Well... that's because Myth is playing on the hardest difficulty. Plus, canonically, because Death isn't currently on a mission for the council, he's not anywhere near as powerful.

@@darthplagueis13 All of the Horsemen in the current timeline between Wars imprisonment are pretty weak compared to their more powerful counterparts before Eden and when the Counsel was at it's prime. Right now they are facing a bigger threat which is between the Counsel, Angel and Demon War, and the Prince of Darkness himself plotting a big showdown at everyone as the other Horsemen are trying to plead Wars innocence. So it's pretty understandable why they are weak and I feel bad for the Horsemen.

The Guardian fight is undoubtedly one of the most memorable events of Darksiders 2, and the entire series at large. While the fight may be simple (and some don't love it as much as others do), its sheer uniqueness, surrounding context and the *music*, man, make it a fight that is worth to echo through the ages, and the story and universe it is from with it. I'm glad that you still love this game as much as you do, and as said before i truly hope you will continue with it until the end. The fight with the Corrupted Custodian partially served as a tutorial on how to use the grappling hook item in battle. Its attacks are pretty wide, but with the Deathgrip you can quickly close the distance for Death to pull himself toward its face immediately after it has performed one of its attacks. But the dash also works very well-- as you proved right there. There's some advice in past comments that i want to refer you to, namely being in a big comment of mine in the first Darksiders 2 episode and in the last one. Some of the most important ones, echoed by quite a few other comments in here, relate to the Possessed Weapons and Combos. -For the combos, the scythes have some delayed combos to them, like attack + (pause) + attack + attack to give a single example. You can view the combos you have at any time in the pause menu. -Possessed weapons. I did express my worries on creating a weapon that utterly breaks the game and will lead to you only using that weapon, and i'd personally prefer to see you experiment with the different Secondary Subtypes and their charge attacks in aforementioned comments on last video and on the first Darksiders 2 one, but either way Possessed Weapons are *really* worth giving your time of day and looking more into them. You can customize them really well with effects like Freeze, Lifesteal and Wrath generation, to name a few examples, and Possessed Weapons can level up to five times. And leveling them up by feeding them other equipment also helps clean out your inventory! -A final bit of advice on the charge attacks: You keep using them as if the longer you charge them, the more damage they do. But that's not the case. It's a timing thing involving the purple indicator-- when it is at its most intense during the charge animation, you have to release. Only THEN will your attacks have extra damage, and in some cases even perform an extra move than it normally would have. In the case of Buckler type weapons such as the Dark Avenger, this is done in a more unique way as you have to time the "charge" perfectly, and then immediately press the attack button again. Though i don't remember if that is the normal attack button or the secondary attack button. Probably the secondary. That all said, my apologies if i come across as a know-it-all or am lording this information over you. If it becomes annoying, just say so, but as it is-- thank you again so much for keeping this series going. I wish you a lot of fun with the rest, as well as a good rest of your year.

Theres still sidequests and secrets to do in the makers world, but dont feel rushed. You can come back later and you will cuz other side quests will have u come back and other skills will let u get some secrets.

Myth there are SEVERAL collectibles in this game, some of them are worth hunting down, almost all give a nice weapon/Armor on completion. They're mostly located in one world area too

Myth, try to do some combos with your scythe - delaying the last attack of a chain performs a different style of “death” attack. For example, in a 4 AA combo if you delay the 3rd attack it will do an aoe attack. X - X - delayed X. It looks cool and could help you a lot :)

As I have played this game quite a couple of times and seen even more clips from it, I can't help but notice that in the Guardian's cutscenes the wrong model is being used. There is a normal one and a corrupted one, which can be identified by the black gooey stuff on the stone. Like they use the corrupted model when the Guardian first wakes up right before the Corruption breaks out of it (a process which is explicitly shown) or when the reborn Guardian attacks the Corruption after being reborn it also uses the corrupted model (even before the Corruption counterattacks at which point it actually makes sense)

Here is a tip for combo finish: when you learn meteor strike (jump off to the ground when u are in air), you can end a combo like always u do and after the final move press jump and continue smashing buttons on air and use meteor strike whenever u want (in case if a enemy attacks came u need to anticipate) to be on the ground and restart combos

Also, Necro build with life steal/ crit chance is the way to go! Make sure you are summoning your ghouls and crows (when you get them) every chance you get! Ghouls and Crows are the only two skills you need IMO!
