My dad died on August 27, 2010 and we played this song at his funeral. He loved Guardian and i remember being a little kid waking up on weekends hearing him sing their songs. It hurts to listen to this song. It brings tears to my eyes and my throat hurts but at the same time its brings me peace knowing that he lived his life for others; he even died in the act of trying to help others. He was a strong man of God and i pray that his example lives out through my life.

I will see Ms. Tiari Kumi who passed away at the hands of a drunk driver in Ohahu Hawaii in 1984 after accepting Jesus in her heart and life , I was 24 she was 18 , I'm 56 now and miss her STILL , see you in heaven Tiari my love. This song is so close to my heart. My brother and myself sung this as a duo at my mum's funeral 7 years ago almost to the day, and since then I cry every time I hear this. I miss my mum heaps and I hope to make her proud one day

Love Guardian , they never got a fair shake on stardom in the music industry I don’t believe , wish I knew why , because they sure deserve it. Seen them in concert multiple times in the early nineties , they even showed me some of the ways they played a few songs , they were selfless Love them !
