It's crazy to think that 8 years ago, Nebula went from a purely evil and revenge-driven sadist to a reluctant anti-hero to a full-fledged hero and Avenger, Karen Gillan is an incredible and underrated actress! I can't wait to see how she's grown as a character, no longer tied down to the trauma inflicted on her by Thanos and free to heal and move on with her life, with her new family in the Guardians. I hope she'll get even more closer with her sister Gamora in Vol.3!

I really hope that Peter and Gamora get back together again in Vol. 3 without any of them dying. I know it's a slim chance as it seems to be a recurrent theme in the last few Marvel movies that the two main characters don't actually end up together, but I'm still holding on to that hope. Gamora's death was one of the hardest hitting in Infinity War for me, so I just want Guardians Vol. 3 to give us that same relationship that Gamora and Peter had before her death in Infinity War

When asking where is Gamora, I would assume that nebula would know something of where her whereabouts are because they seem to be on okay grounds at the end of endgame. However it being a more rough version of Gamora from the past she probably had to go on a journey by herself so that by the time we see her she will be closer to the Gamora we know. Have you never heard of his comic book counterpart? He was created on earth by scientists but just achieved cosmic power. He can pretty much do whatever he wants. Has the strength to 1 v 1 Thanos and beat him.. and can die and come back to life no issue.

He doesn't. This is only the idea presented here. The matter in the Negative Zone isn't anti-matter, but all matter in the Negative Zone is negatively charged. This do9ens't cause it to annihilate itself when exposed to our universe but instead the matter tends to repulse itself from ours, or the extra negative charge joins positively charged matter and causes it to become neutral and so lose power. this can be channeled and used to cause great energy blasts, or concussive force such as used by Annilus or Blastarr. This isn't likely true science just how I have observed it in the comics.

Regarding Gamora, I keep thinking to myself how Tony would have mentally worded his Snap, and the one phrasing that makes sense to me is "Thanos, and all those loyal to him, don't exist". This would make sense as to why Gamora survived. She was never truly loyal to him, but her freeing Nebula and turning on Thanos during the final battle would exclude her from such a Snap.

I think we need a GOTG Vol 3.2 before they end them as we know it. Vol 3 can focus on the more personal stuff and set up and vol 3.2 can be crossover. Kinda the reverse of Infinity war and Endgame. And also, I think we should stop looking for one big bad for each arc or phase of the MCU at this point. MCU has grown so big, each subsection of it deserves it's own Big bad instead of just one big bad for the whole of MCU. So, while Doctor strange and Loki, set up multiverse and Kang as the villain and the grounded side of the MCU set up King pin and Doctor strange and Blade, Moon Knight set up Dracula and other big mystical threats. While Black Pather and Namor set up their war of kingdoms and stuff and Fantastic Four and New Avengers can set up Doom as the big villain and deal with incursions. While Marvels, GOTG, Nova, Eternals and other projects set up Annihilus and other stuff Cosmic big bads. And Mutants set up their own things with the X-Men school and Pheonix and Apocalypse. And all of this, some more than other can culminate in secret wars. MCU can't do linear story telling anymore, otherwise it can never utilise it's characters properly. It has do multiple big things all at once, that's new for us but that's okay. And this would mean, MCU at times would feel a lot less connected cuz they won't make connections between movies so new comers can understand without having to watch hours of content. But that's the point, not everything needs to connect anymore, they are not setting up a shared universe because they already did. They don't need to spoon-feed us with references to other movies like they did in Phase 1. This is a natural evolution of MCU, imo, one that would lead to epic things if fans are patient and truly grasp what they want to do.

He just comes later. With the amount of content Marvel is making it's easy to throw multiple big crossovers at us and then Kang and the Secret Wars to top it all off. For example: with John Walker, Yelena and Abomination, it's easy to assume Marvel is building up to a Dark Avengers. They could become the major threat that the New Avengers or the Young Avengers will be fighting against, or maybe not and all hero groups on earth will end up teaming up to fight against the real big bad, could be Apocalypse, Doom or even a Kang variant. Meanwhile, MoM ended with an Incursion looming over Earth, this could become another crossover, adapting the og Secret Wars, maybe in a battle between the main universe and the one with the Illuminati, just to give everyone a taste of what's to come while slowly developing the plot around the multiverse. Loki will probably be doing something as well. And sure enough, in space we have Annihilation, which could be the crossover The Marvels, GotG3 and who knows, maybe even Thor 4 with the Necrosword and Shang-Shi with the Ten Rings are building towards (as a side note, if the Ten Rings are indeed related to Annihilus, he could be the "real big bad" that everyone will be fighting on Earth, but I think he will be limited to the cosmic scenario, iirc Earth doesn't get involved in the fight against him in the comics, so they could do the same here). After all is said and done, another Kang variant can show up, maybe he was waiting for Annihilus to be killed so he could take control of the Negative Zone and use it's energy to cause a big Incursion that brings all universes together at once, creating Battleworld, which leads us into the second Secret Wars

Whilst I am over the moon and eager to see where the Guardians will go next in terms of character, I believe that Star-Lord, Rocket and Drax have potential to have the best character arcs in Guardians Vol. 3. Here’s how: - Star-Lord This one is interesting because most people are divided on this character. But I believe Peter can be loved again by the popular fan base. And here’s how. His character arc can be moving away from the past and embracing the future. That could mean two things: He can't bring back those memories and Gamora doesn't want to do anything with him. This way the original one will never truly come back and her death will be impactful and they can use this new variant for different stories in the future outside of Guardians movies which helps him come to terms with his mother's death as well and feel more confident to become his own person without having to rely on others' love and support. And I’d also love to see him broken with feelings of guilt and major regret. Due to his actions from Infinity War causing 50% of existence, including his own family AND himself (except Rocket), he’s gonna hate himself for that. In order for his character to change, Peter is gonna accept that he needs to grow up and step up as the competent and well-respected leader he’s supposed to be from the 2008 comics, not entirely losing some of the charm Chris Pratt brings to the role that we all know, but takes his job seriously as he won’t make the same mistake again. This character in Vol. 3 could go through a huge redemption arc which is well-deserved from accepting his flaws and embracing the future has in store. To top it all off, the rumor going around is that Star-Lord, Adam Warlock and Cosmo will form a new team. I’D LOVE THAT! - Rocket Raccoon His character arc deals with him finally confronting the thing that’s been haunting him his entire life. He is going to face the creation that brought him so much suffering, pain and misery which turned him into the trash panda we all know today. His tragic past will definitely be a key component to how his character will evolve in Guardians 3, as he will face his fears. Cut to the present, since Infinity War and the 5 years of Endgame, he’s changed a lot. He is a lot more sincere and has accepted the fact that he has a family who cares for him, while not losing his sarcastic sense of humor. He is shown as someone who can be a leader if given the chance (given how he has improved since then and now he’s seen the larger picture since he’s been alive for 5 years and accepts how important his family has become). And in order for his character arc to come full circle, it’d be amazing for him to sacrifice his life to save them. Not only as a great send off to the character, but showing how he’s redeemed himself since Guardians 1, showing that the heart of gold triumphs over all. it'd be cool as a callback to the beginning of his journey for Rocket’s final words before his sacrifice to be “WE ARE GROOT”. - Drax Drax feels lacking and inferior because he wasn't able to kill Thanos himself. He feels like he didn't manage to avenge the death of his family and that he now has no motivation to continue fighting for something. But the Guardians meet, through their journey, Drax's daughter, Moondragon, who somehow managed to survive and became a fighter/mercenary to make ends meet. Drax finds his motivation again and tries to reconnect with her and make up for the lost time, but she is a completely different person now and barely remembers her father from the time she was young. At first she is sent to kill the Guardians, maybe from one of the villains, the High Evolutionary or Ayesha. and stays mostly antagonistic for most of the film, but Drax manages to show her the love that she was lacking all those years, which turns her in the Guardians' side at the end and she ends up reconnecting with her father and wanting to spend more time with him. Barbossa's arc in the fifth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie could be a good template for Drax's role in the third film. Meeting Moondragon reopens his original wound that he's had long before he met the Guardians, but he's determined not to fail her again. While she's still an assassin, Moondragon has also longed to find her father again, but doesn't remember him enough to immediately recognise Drax. Even after she betrays her superiors and helps the Guardians, Drax isn't sure whether he should tell her the truth, but they gradually develop (or re-develop) a familial bond, which culminates in Moondragon finally realising Drax is her father just before he gives his life to save her.

I REEEEEAAALLY hope they don’t mess up this franchise! It’s easily one of my favorites in the MCU. Probably even my favorite. I didn’t hate Love and Thunder by any means. It was perfectly fine and I still like it a lot more than Thor 1 and 2 but not quite as much as Ragnarok. Love and thunder was funny and had good dramatic moments along with some really cool visuals and action. I’m not complaining. I was satisfied. Although I do understand and agree with some criticisms that it leaned too heavily into the goofy and humor. That’s why I’m afraid for Guardians because it’s probably the MCU franchise that has the most goofiness and humor weaved into the fabric of the characters and story and overall vibe and tone of the films. BUT they’re not just goofiness and humor. They’re not just a cartoon. They have a nice emotional weight and heart in each installation. When ain’t no mountain high enough played as the nova corps soldier hugged his family I almost cried I’m not even gonna lie😄😄. But the sequel has good drama as well and really made you care about the characters, their relationships, and all of their issues. GotG are fun movies but they’re not just fun. You should really feel the characters are real people with real problems underneath all the jokes and crazy goofy antics. I’m not saying love and thunder didn’t have that also but it seems the MCU is leaning heavier and heavier into that area with these franchises as they see them succeed. Like “oh Thor makes more money when he’s acts more like a funny goofball so let’s give as many jokes and goofy scenes we can and we’ll get more money”. That just seems to be the trend and I HOPE guardians doesn’t get caught up in it.

@@dirkdiggler9173 Honestly, despite what I said, I think so too. I wouldn’t feel that way if he wasn’t also directing this one. He’s proven he knows what he’s doing with this franchise and these characters enough for me to be able to trust him with it and actually be hopeful and excited for it. Not to mention that based on all the rumors in this video, the plot sounds fantastic right now😁! We’ll see if he pulls it off. Time to pull out all the stops if this is the final one.

I wonder if it's possible for Annihilus to be the next big level threat. Sure, we have smaller tier threats that'll show up including Secret Wars. That that will be wrapped up by the time the end of the like titled show. Kang doesn't strike me as the next Infinity War level threat, he'll be a problem in Phase 5 but I think he'll be done by then. Galactus isn't really a threat that can be built towards where it would take multiple phases. I think the next few phases we can see something new, smaller phase level threats with an overarching mega threat that will be sprinkled in and built up. I've always loved Guardians so I'm excited for the movie no matter how it goes. I'm a huge MCU fan so I'm excited for that no matter how it goes. Can't wait!

I really liked how you laid out the future of the Guardians after this movie. I really love all of them and I’m worried that they won’t have much to do after this movie, but seeing them in another crossover would be nice. The idea of Annihilation happening pretty soon sounds really cool as well. Hopefully we’d get to see them, Thor, Nova, Silver Surfer, and others participate. One thing you didn’t really talk enough about in this video is Rocket’s arc. According to Gunn it’s gonna be a pretty big part of the movie and will probably be the central plot line that ties everything together. Based on some set photos it seems like they’re merging the ideas of Counter Earth and Halfworld, which would mean the fight against Warlock would probably lead the Guardians to that planet and Rocket faces his own past while they’re there. Eventually this might bring Adam and the Guardians together while they fight the High Evolutionary. Gamora will probably be what starts the story but I don’t see her being too big of a part of it. She doesn’t have too many ties to the High Evolutionary and overall the plot with her just seems like something they could get done for the most part within the first 20 minutes, while her development continues a bit as the movie goes on. There’s a chance that the Eternals could appear as well. Last we saw them they were getting brought into space by Celestials, and with the Guardians helping gods after Love and Thunder I could totally see the Eternals making at least a brief appearance. That would also fit the Phase 4 pattern of small-scale team ups within movies. My death predictions are Drax, Mantis, and maybe Groot. Drax is a no brainer, keeping Mantis around would be kind of pointless, and Groot also hasn’t been too important since GOTG 1, so his fate really depends on what happens with Rocket. Speaking of Rocket, he’s looking likely to die too but he still has more to offer past this movie, so I’m gonna need to see a little bit of what direction they go with him first. Star Lord and Nebula should be safe too, but I wouldn’t rule them out, and killing off Kraglin would just be stupid. Gamora probably won’t join them but I could see her just leaving and doing her own thing. New team consists of Star Lord, Rocket, Groot, Nebula, Kraglin, Adam, and anyone else who gets introduced in the movie.

Mantis better not die. I love her! And actually they can do a lot with her character First off mantis is socially awkward cuz she spent her whole life without any contact except for ego. She will continue to grow more and more confident in her character arc and I don’t think this should be rushed. Secondly: her powers are nowhere near their limit. Think of it as a scarlet witch situation where she was only using a small percent of her power. Since mantis is currently the most powerful on the team I think her powers will continue to grow even into some of her bonus comic powers such as plant communication and manipulation, telepathy and the continuous growth of her martial arts skills. Thirdly and finally: I think mantis and dead could create an interesting storyline where mantis delves deeper into drax’s past similarly to what she does in vol.2 and discovers that his daughter is still alive. This could lead to the introduction of Moondragon who in the comics is drax’s daughter who survives the attack by thanos and has extreme telepathic powers. I’m predicting she might appear in vol. 3. Overall o really don’t want mantis to die cuz they can do soo much more with her and her power set. Also she’s too adorable to die! It would be like killing Morris from Shang Chi 😂

I reckon between gotg3, the marvels and Agatha they’ll be setting up annihilus as a new ultron, the big bad to distract the heroes before they get to Thanos/Kang. I reckon they can finish this and have him defeated in Fantastic Four, having the team, including Dr Doom, who doesn’t turn evil until Kang dynasty when Kang shows him his multiversal selves and the power that is ‘rightfully his’. Or doom could get his powers in the wake of defeating annihilus.
