What everyone is saying in these comments is so spot on. Rode it last week for the first time and had Conga as our song. Watching this video doesn’t so this ride justice. I couldn’t stop thinking about it after I got off and wanted to go on again so badly. It’s just an amazing coaster. Tron was also pretty great!

I was going to ride until I got conga and I got conga on my first ride I was so dumb hype. No video does this ride any Justice. The g-forces you feel as the car rotates on the banked turns is INSANE! One of the most intense roller coasters I’ve ever been on. So much fun, I can’t wait to ride again.

I went to Disney World for the first time ever back in late June and I was lucky enough to get a boarding pass for this ride and this is probably the best roller coaster I’ve ever been on, and I’ve been to ever amusement/theme park in California 😭😭

Damn you're kind of scaring me. I have a hard time doing roller coasters. Just because of anxiety. If this is the most intense coaster you've ever done I don't know that I can even do it. I thought I needed to be worried about Tron. Now I'm nervous on both.

@@MelkhorX it’s not that intense IMO. I get what you mean about anxiety because I get it too, mostly on rollercoasters I’ve never ridden before because I don’t know exactly what to expect. Basically as long as you aren’t super sensitive to rotating/sideways motion you should be fine. The launch goes straight back which is a weird feeling but really cool, and the rotating of the cars actually eliminates the jerkiness that you get on a ride like space mountain where there are tight sudden turns and front-facing cars. The whole ride is incredibly smooth. No huge drops either, and I think the g-forces are a tad bit stronger if you’re sitting on the right side but I haven’t noticed any difference between front and back cars. And the music sends the whole experience over the top! It’s such a fun ride, definitely not one to skip due to nerves unless your anxiety is bad to the point of being dangerous.

@@lynnyx_it’s funny too because he does appear briefly in the queue here and there but I think it’s just brief enough that it goes over people’s heads most of the time, plus there’s so much happening throughout the queue that you might not even notice (I didn’t my first time on the ride). My favorite part is in the pre-show when he says “people of Epcot, epcottians, citizens of Epcot… does anybody know what they call themselves?” One time a whole group of people yelled “alcoholics!!!” in unison😂

Personally, my rating goes (note these are the four I’ve gotten across five rides): 1. September for fitting the ride/pacing pretty well and track exceptionally 2. Conga for fitting the ride and pacing really well but not being really great with matching the track 3. One Way or Another for having a calm but still bouncy pace and fitting the ride well 4. Disco Inferno for feeling kinda flat and without life or energy to me… like I rode it with that and still liked it (easy to hear dialogue and catch stuff) but didn’t get the same kinda energy But, yeah, Conga SHOULD work better than September, but that one gives off SUCH AN INSANE AURA! However, I’d love to hear someone else’s opinion on the matter. Just, uh, do NOT put EWTRTW at the top for pacing because I will send you on the Cosmic Rewind of your life, and not the good kind! (Jk, it’d be fascinating to know why someone would like that most.) Thanks for reading so much y’all! Edit: Coming back, World might actually be really fun because that’s such a different feel. Like, ngl that fits pretty well in the context of space and the time period Quill likes. Idk had to say that

They are such similar rides but this one is just straight out better. Absolutely not. Disco Inferno is hands down the BEST song for this ride. Matter of fact, they need more disco like Parliament or the Ohio Players. The song elevated the ride so much that I added Disco Inferno to my Apple Music. It’s that good.

Ngl my favorite thing about this ride is that it’s just the perfect satisfying length. You get a nice long ride and it doesn’t lose its momementum towards the end like some coasters do. Disco Inferno (Burn Baby Burn) by The Trammps 🕺 This song is from the 70s, and it's a groovy and hilarious choice for the ride which is very on brand for the Guardians franchise. The lyrics are a word play tying into the theme of the big bang, and the energy is high! This is the kind of song they would've used if this was a scene in a Guardians movie. 2. One Way or Another by Blondie 🏃‍♀️Fastest song on the ride!! I love that the speed of this song matches the high speed of the coaster. And the lyrics match the theme the closest because the Guardians are trying to get the get the cosmic generator back. 3. Conga by Gloria Estefan💃Okay, hear me out! This is the funniest song on the ride just because of how unexpected it is! I laughed my butt off when I heard the horn intro blare through the speakers 😂 The humor alone is very on brand for the franchise and is why this song deserves to be above the next 3. 4. September by Earth, Wind & Fire 🔥 Okay, this song is the banger of all bangers. It's super upbeat, it's a 70's staple and everyone loves it. It's on the second half of the list because the theming doesn't match all that much, but who cares when you can vibe out and sing along to every word?! 🙌 5. Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears - This song is an 80s classic and it's a vibe! There are some connections to the theming of the ride, but the energy is way too low and doesn't match the intensity of the coaster. 6. I Ran by A Flock of Seagulls - I'm sure there will be a lot of guests who appreciate hearing this song come on, but I felt that the energy and theming were not a good match for the ride. I’ve only had Disco Inferno since I’ve ridden it once. I seriously cannot imagine any other song. Disco Inferno just takes the ride to a whole other level. It’s like the only song I want. I did write to Disney and asked them to add some Parliament or Ohio Players to the list. Like Flashlight (which is in the Guardians credits) or Roller Coaster (which they played in the commercial). Disco music just adds to the greatness of this ride!

It was probably the song I was least excited about before going on, but now we LOVE ITTT! Hearing it immediately takes me back to this amazing ride. I just got off the cosmic rewind ride…and it was awesome! But to get on it again you have to pay $90! WTF!?

The ride seems amazing and I love it but almost feels like a better space mountain more than an original ride I personally would’ve added a massive animatronic celestial and probably a baby groot in there somewhere in the queue w rocket or drax

I understand that, but also you have to remember this is the biggest indoor coaster ever built and has been estimated to have cost at least $500million. For some perspective, the entire Avatar park cost around $500mil, and the Na’vi shaman animatronic cost $10mil. I think it just wasn’t worth it at that point to spend millions more for an animatronic. Plus you would fly by it fairly quickly anyways. If they did make one, it probably would have been a pretty basic/minimal one tbh

Nah, no baby Groot. He's grown past that phase quite clearly in MCU canon. Also making him a baby would just be straight up pandering at this point.

@@jade_ottsel My understanding is that the ride is set right after the first movie (albeit in a different universe, so some of the details don't match up). So baby Groot would actually be correct, according to the timeline.

The best part of this ride is how it’s a blank canvas. Seems to be a new class of infinitely adaptable rides. Disney doesn’t want to reconstruct anymore.
