Rocket's story is truly heartbreaking He was brutally experimented on when he was still very young He and his friends were stuck in tiny cages He found out they are all going to die and tried to save his friends but couldn't and he blamed himself for that He escaped and met Groot Groot died New Groot was born and then died, and then was finally revived The kill switch in Rocket's heart activated then he was saved by his friends and his life finally got better and he made peace with his past after all the years

The part that gets me every time is when rocket is ready to die and is talking to Lylla and she says “not yet”. Every time man. She puts her hand on his chest and rocket is sucked back to life. Rocket became my favorite character after watching this movie. I always felt so embarrassed about carrying my depression for over 5 years, I lost my friends, some of my passions, and my soul. For a Young girl to experience the kind of thing I didn't want to worry my parents or the few friends I have left. I finally confessed it to my parents and as much as I try to believe I'm okay I'm not. I feel that as if I have a friend like Lylla, but it's also something I want more than anything in the world. Every night I would cry for hours after my family went to bed, and when I would. I'd see this boy, I can never remember his face but his voice was so calm, reassuring, and he made me feel safe and comfortable with him. Hugging me and talking to me until I wake up, I know that he's a figment of my imagination for when I'm sad or lonely, but in my heart I know he's real. Seeing Rocket in this movie made me cry, I love him so much he's so brave and strong to endure that and gain the purpose he wanted

When Nebula said “Theres’s a med bay on the ship!” I knew Rocket’s story was about to begin a flashback after I saw a leaked clip. When I saw it in theaters, when she said that, I had to run to the bathroom because I was too scared to see Rocket being tortured like that, and I accidentally scratched my knee on the carpet. It was just a little scrape. Don’t worry.

Hey I can tell you’re new to video editing and KZbin and stuff, so just a little advice to help you out. The music takes away from the emotional scenes. And blasting over the dialogue does so even more. Keep at it, kid, and eventually you’ll get it. You got some potential!!

These were always good movies but the 3rd one is the heart of the series and possibly the MCU. It shows just how much Gunn understands comics and the value and lessons they leave behind in regards to human emotions, they might be super and smart and otherworldly, but at the end of the day they’re a family who cares and worries for eachother. The amount of emotions this movies sent me through was intense. And now this man is running DC, I can’t wait to see what he does.

Scenes like this are what almost made me tear up in the theater when I saw this movie mainly because they ripped rocket apart and put him back together over and over again. That scene from the first movie where he drunkingly says he’s a monster is even more sad
