How do you expect him to do that? Less tax means less money for the NHS, schools, and all those rather important things. The economy is in a bad state. He can't just do a load of things that would make it worse. He needs to raise money somehow and improve how it is being used. That's not something you can just achieve quickly. He can't just undo the damage Truss did just because he wants to. He can't magically reduce the NHS waiting lists without additional expenditure. If he lowers immigration we will have a period where some jobs aren't filled and we're getting less tax revenue because we have less workers. Any government in this position would need some time to get things back on track.

When faced with a lesser to two evils but evils none the less - what are the people to do? My late grandmother always said "the stricter the Government - the Wiser the population". Lets see how this Govt pans out, because for the longest time all I've seen new govts do is blame the last govt when things go wrong. Having said that, the last gove is by far the WORST I've ever seen. Feel like I've just awoken from a 14 year horror story. Let's see what this new chapter brings.

Well, he didn't praise Sunak - he just patronised him; the UK is still great because of the ordinary people. There are bad things about the UK and in many ways it has deteriorated over the last 40-50 years. However, most of us still enjoy an enviable degree of personal safety, we don't go hungry and we have access to free healthcare. Why stress if others laugh at you? Do you get ruffled if your neighbours poke fun at you? Please, enrol in a self-esteem class and learn to walk tall! 😉

What about us disabled folks? We have voted for you as well. It’s infuriating to see politicians continually overlook the disabled community. @@joshuaduarte4505 Well, I think any of us with a little imagination might make suggestions. For one we could have better provision for young people who are severely disabled - quality of life issues need to be addressed because people are not just physical unit to be fed and watered! Also employment and training opportunities need to be improved, as do ease of access in all areas of life. Mate, surely you can think of some improvements you'd like to see adopted so that we live in an inclusive society where we all feel we are valued and supported??

Addressing issues like immigration 😂 that’s biggest joke I’ve heard. He has openly said he welcomes greater immigration he’s not going to change that one bit.

Constantly looking down at his speech. A speech written by others. He can’t even speak from the heart. This is no leader and definitely no prime minister 😢
