The exact thing pre-'07 emo kids were bullied for (skinny jeans, colored hair, etc.), along with music listened to by them, are now becoming commercialized, profitable, and most ironically of all, popular. He has a right (especially if he is one of those said "emo" kids.) to be bitter. Artists like X and Peep, and even guardin (for example) were/are fairly fake, and were/are clearly in it for the money of a scene quickly growing in popularity. Their lyrics drive that point home, zero relatability or truth in them. Whereas artists like, for example, guccihighwaters and nothing,nowhere are noticeably more convincing lyrically and emotionally. You can hear and feel what they are saying, and you can tell/hear that they mean/experienced what they are saying/telling. There's a difference between edgy modern-day scene kids trying to make a quick buck with minimal talent and true artists. But yeah, he probably needs to calm down a little.

I found this song 1 week before my 8 year relationship ended. I played this and I somehow knew that it was coming go a end. It was a horrible ending. This is the first song i ever heard from gaurdin and forever and always ill always listen, his lyrics are so deep and meaningful, his music is timeless. I felt so grateful for this song in particular because it made me so happy/sad at the same time about my relationship tearing into shards before my eyes.
