From my testing, in which I tried a TCG legal build, it is really good in giving you an extra dragon on the board and can be triggered by summon sorceress when reborned. Excuse me THUNDER until just a little while ago with Thunder Dragons? And even then they barely work outside of themselves and are more so dark/light/chaos attribute support than Thunder-type support. Thunder type still is missing a generic draw card, rota, etc. Even Reptiles have a Rota Xyz and a Painful Choice.

I run majestic star borrel savage CW and Abyss. I dont really feel like having 0 cards in hand is worth the negation that you can get by using void orge. But then again I dont use the main deck mons I prefer hieratics

A few good techs I can suggest, Hibernation Dragon and Background dragon are two great techs. Background can be pitched off of Shrine to give you two monsters without your normal summon right off the bat. Hibernation Dragon can return dragons to your hand to make cards like consonance live as well as potentially brining back a link dragon that was link summoned and in the grave.

A hieratic Diabolos Deck could do some pretty insane combo, like putting lair on board, summon hieratic, tribute it, summon diabolos, minus 1 opponent by tributing the newly summoned hieratic, set corruption re-summon diabolos, because of course you would use it for agarpain, use your 2 normal monsters for pisty and elpy. summon buster dragon ( I don't know if you can use lair of darkness to actually proc corruption even if the opponent's monster isn't a dragon but just dark), during opponents turn tribute his monster, and destroy 2 of his cards, re summon diabolos for a minus 1 next turn probably or just go for game.

And i'm pretty sure you can do better than that on T1 with diabolos using card draw like trade-in, card of consonance with destrudo, galaxy serpent or labradorite dragon and maybe using hieratic atum for a different combo using red-eyes darkness metal dragon.

The link monsters seem like they'll really shine in dragunity. Needlefiber into barcha easily puts enough low level dragons on the field to summon the link monsters, and then redmd brings out yet more fodder for bigger extra deck plays. Not tried it out yet, but it seems promising.

Hey @lithium2300. I found more consistent dragon spam without Needlefiber, but it does require the use of the Hieratic seal link monster that still is OCG, and Hieratic dragon of Nuit. The level 1 guard dragon can target nuit from the hand and trigger the SS effect, giving you 2 monsters right off the bat. standard filler like you were doing but what nuit allows in conjunction with 1 dragon ravine and 1 of their field card is that you can keep SSing nuit with REDMD and tagretting it, allowing you to massively link climb, and the hieratic seal link monster gives you a reason to use the icarus like trap card. also if you ss the level 4 guard dragon with the seal, its current attack becomes 0, and then its effect kicks in and it's ORIGINAL attack doubles, so you get a 4k beater from the deck. Maybe you should try these ideas out.

Use hieratics as the main deck engine primarily with the interactions between nuit and destrudo I also run the mini chaos engine from collapse serpent. Majestic Star and borrel savage are also really good extra deck choices. Majestic star as a win hard or go for broke card And barrel savage because the deck vomits links lvl6s and lvl2 tunner like nothing Which can also lead into synergy with abyss because of glow up and needle plays

Dont use void ogre. You should remember he is not level restricted as tzolkin so you can use Hot Red Archfiend Abyss which can negate both Monsters and spell/trap. Also you can use the original guardragon for his handtrap effect or to send together with the normal monster using dragon's shrine(that starts some combos). A good option is to use the guardragon link monsters on dracoslayers, this way you summon electrumite and then summon the 2 link 1 dragons on his zones to keep going. This option can play without needlefiber.

This archetype has immesurable potential so I hope Konami don't waste this opportunity to create a new deck that can do stuff in the competitive scene. For suggestions I'd say the Quick Revolve + Rokket Synchron engine, the restriction to dragons only applies when Rokket Synchron activates its effect so it'll give you more opportunities to go into Glassfibre. Another engine I'm thinking of trying is the Hieratic Engine which I feel works well if you want to go for synchros directly.

That's what I'm hoping for. So far I think the Hieratic Engine is working well for me, I managed to get a two card combo ending with Borrelsword, Savage Dragon with 2 counters and another monster depending on how the combo plays out. I love that the hieratics can bring them out straight from the deck which helps with extension.
