Why aren't the medics permitted to wear MTPs for performing their duties instead of the female medic trying to keep her dignity wearing a tight uniform skirt and her forage cap on and perform the most important duty that of MEDICAL AID. The medics were unable to get right down to the casualty to check for breathing and vital signs in case their caps fell off or in the case of the female medic she ripped her tights on the rough parade ground. When is there actually going to be an OUTBREAK OF COMMONSENSE, allow the highly skilled trained people to do their jobs properly unhindered I bet HM The Queen wouldn't mind at all if someone could perform their role as they are trained to do. No doubt this uniform decision for medics comes from someone who never has had to treat a casualty. Get real and move into the 21st Century.

Everyone saying “why didn’t the other troops run to help him?!?!?” One, because they aren’t medics and aren’t trained to deal with injuries or faints. Two, because they have medics specifically trained to care for injured soldiers. And three, because they are all conducting an extremely important parade ceremony. This isn’t a case of soldiers being treated as mindless drones, it’s a case of dedicated men serving their nation with honor and dedication, and they should be commended for it.

Why don't they give these people modern uniforms that are lighter and less likely to make u faint or get made fun of?
@missahsee8 жыл бұрын
Every uniform would be 'made fun of' but those with insecurities. A uniform design that has a 300- or 500-yr tradition is not altered much. Fabrics have gotten lighter over the years, as with most anything else. The occasional fainting may happen when a member begins a new medicine (antihistamine or decongestant), has not had enough fluids, or electrolytes (esp. potassium). Locking nerves, or dropping the chin may close off blood flow. The main cause (besides excessive heat and humidity/no breeze) is a body that is not optimum... not trained well enough. I hope you understood my comment on 'insecurities'. People make fun of others when they themselves are not educated - and cannot understand a situation... it is so much quicker to say 'gee, that's lame' than to be educated about a style of uniform that has been around the British Isles since the 14th or 16th century.

Bet you'll never do it again. Now, go get educated.

Why? Charles will probably make for a pretty good King, he's been 'training' for the past 60 years... Youth does not guarantee William will be a better monarch. Besides, you get rid of direct hereditary succession and you might as well do away with the whole monarchy, tradition is tradition.
@antoniavie8 жыл бұрын
Simple, it will be announced "The Queen is dead, long live the King" and then the Prince of Wales, Charles will become King. Soon after there will be the coronation of King Charles III.
@thehoneybadger12237 жыл бұрын
Prince Charles will take the throne and become king, unless he abdicates it to his eldest son. However, abdication is seen as shameful and the last monarch to do so was Edward VIII in 1936, it raised a lot of controversy and is still seen as a shameful failure today. (Personally I'm not bothered by it, I'm just a minnow compared to those great whites on the throne)
