I adore the Gucci Marmont flap bags!!! To me they are luxurious with an extremely easy to use opening snd fabulous price point! I returned a Chanel because I truly loved the Gucci more!!! Great comparison video…TFS!

The heart is not my thing either, but is in the back of the bag, does not disturb me. With the hardware I have a problem. Maybe Gucci could do variations on the hardware (not only brushed, old gold) and maybe reduce the size of the GG). At least for me would be more appealing.

Agree with everything you said! I wish they would do some more variations too. I have seen them do the GG in different materials but the sizing scale is always pretty relative to the size of the bag. Which is like you said on the large side

I do appreciate looking at and learning about these luxury bags, but as someone who is looking for a 12000 dollar used car right now, I can’t help but thinking about how overpriced they are!!!! Do they come with an engine? Lol!!!!!! Like I said though, I love seeing these bags, and I love your channel Mel!!!!!!💖🎃

In terms of design I’m on team classic flap. 😁 I don’t like curtain aspects of the marmont, like the heart on the back or the way the hardware looks. However I do love the craftsmanship of both of them! 🤩

Not gonna lie, I don’t ever do up the snap on the inner flap when I wear the bag, only for storage. I think the Marmont is much easier to use day-to-day and there is a place for both in the collection. I love it in white, I might pick one up too. Not sure I could stomach the potential color transfer onto a white Chanel with these prices 😅

Yes Once I didn’t do the snap up on the only spin I ever took the bag out on however I seen an indentation when I returned home managed to massage it out but I assume if I did that regularly it could stay permanent 😬 I rehomed the bag anyway and was still in new condition none the less. But it’s something that bothered me about the double flap however I like the structure it gives to the bag. Catch 22 😅

@@Purseonfleek yeah it’s completely true, it does permanent dent the bag. Mine has it a little but I’ll probably never sell it so I’m not too concerned. I honestly I think they should just remove the snap completely or design something else because I’ve even seen new bags at the boutique with that dent already present due to improper storage and handling. 💜
