Brilliant work Joseph. This is the content we need for men’s fashion.

@@davibrass Thank you - that’s very generous! It’s so nice to have an honest dialogue about clothing and style without too much fuss. Hope to have you back for more!

Good one! Interesting things here. I'm looking forward to see you talking about more of socks and their colors, especially white...

@@voyoffice hey now - that’s a good one! A very stylish item - and the white sock craze is definitely very popular. But it isn’t always as easy to work with every outfit. Great idea - I’ll take a note on that! Thank you!

Very interesting analysis. I loved the final notes. I especially like the visual aids.

@@AndresOssa thank you! It’s funny - since Gucci’s style hasn’t quite played out to follow through with what I was hoping to see with the simple classic style of these ads, but even with one good ad campaign we can all use our own creativity to fill in the blanks with our own styles.

I was never a fan of Gucci, they had something that happened a couple of years ago that really turned me off! But those classic horse bit loafers are iconic! I would rather have a vintage pair in black, brown, blue or suede
@SomeNotesonStyleАй бұрын
@@bubbie23jw totally agree with you on those loafers! I was completely sold on the brand when Tom Ford was around, it was really one of the biggest motivators for me to go study fashion. But everything since has definitely been a slow decay, but then again even the old stuff seems a little silly now that I’m a little older…

I've tried doing the Fran Lebowitz capsule wardrobe but the cowboy boots just look awkward in London & its environs ( shame).
@SomeNotesonStyle3 ай бұрын
@@jaysterling26 Ha! Well it’s funny cause even here in the States it doesn’t always work for her! I saw her in New York once or twice and you would think that anything would go in a city like that, but even there, the cowboy boots were a bit of a stretch!. But I do think the rest of her vibe could work nearly anywhere in the world!

Back in the in the day in UK style really did come from the streets rember the mods in the 1960s somthing we have lost here in the uk
@SomeNotesonStyle2 ай бұрын
@@RobertHanna-gq6gk Ahhh yes - that truly Is the true origin of modern street style. I always think it’s incredible the way that you all had such clearly defined street style groups with clear names, rules of style, and associations. And to think that the way those groups defined themselves just by styling clothes that were readily available in just such a way, to make them all their own! Man I wish I saw that kind of style firsthand!

Fashion and style used to come from the streets
@SomeNotesonStyle2 ай бұрын
@@RobertHanna-gq6gk well that’s the truth! For a while there it felt like those two were a little too mixed up with “streetwear” But it’s funny cause now it feels like the streets are TikTok or Instagram - only difference is that they aren’t actually in real life, so you won’t know the difference between what’s cool or not…🥴
