Why does everyone underestimate Murphy. I think he is a great player and he will prove everyone that he is a great winger. "Fan" fact I became a newcastle fan because I loved watching miggy in the mls(I watched the mls becuase of TFC). Miggy was cooking the mls at atlanta and I followed him to newcatsle. I do not think James trafford is necessary. I would have loved him if we signed him before Vlachidimous and ruddy but getting a sixth keeper is not necessary.

Why have more than 3 goalies? I mean it's a waste of money to have 3-5 players getting paid to warm the bench. I'd understand if there was to be a rotation based on which one is best for that match. But the whole thing with Arteta wanting two goalies for rotation and the critics of that plan might have put paid to a similar idea for our lads. As for Miggy, he's passes ans goal scoring abilities have long peeved me. Compare goals scored with balls sent to God. The latter are more numerous.

Honestly, i would rather just get the guehi transfer done then focus on a right winger. We could maybe sign a winger in January and for now concentrate on guehi. Also sixth keeper completely unnecessary.

This transfer window has been an utter shit show. For the first time since the takeover I have real doubts about the direction of travel, as do many I think. We have a manager who seems to have no clue what’s going on re transfers and is having people brought in over his head to run things, and he clearly ain’t happy about it - anyone who thinks that will end well is very naive. I’m old enough to have seen this all before. The manager sadly isn’t doing himself any favours with his selections - the continued favouring of Murphy and longstaff is baffling when you have Barnes and willock at your disposal, and frankly I don’t care that they’re nice lads, they’re bang average footballers; Howe I’m afraid seems to have zero in the way of ruthlessness and you have to have that to go to the next level. Then there’s the question of who is steering the ship - the Saudis are starting to appear utterly disconnected and disinterested and everything in terms of transfers moves like trying to wade through treacle. The Marc G situation has been allowed to rumble on into complete inertia to the point where he’s around an hour away from being cup tied, and the situation over the right winger is just annoying beyond words - we had a by the looks stellar talent in minteh who’s burning it up for the Albion who we sold for fucking PSR compliance when we had at least a year to off load the likes of Murphy longstaff almiron etc, but look it happened move on - that was the end of June, we’ve had two fucking months to scout out a RW, we should already have a damn list; I mean, what in the actual fuck is going on. And what do we get from Howe, aside from the shit tactics at Bournemouth that were more reminiscent of pulis era stoke than anything progressive? Another sanguine shrug of the shoulders and admission that bringing in a CB and RW in the coming days is quote unlikely. Pathetic. The happy clappers who think he walks on water and that eales and co are diamonds can do one, being a fan doesn’t mean you don’t ask tough questions, support them when they get things right - and we have done - but currently this is an utter cluster fuck and it needs to be called out, sorry for the rant Josh but it needs to be said
