I think a way you could make the quiz a little harder is if you don't reveal the answers until the end, so you have to hear a review then pick a movie for it, but you don't find out if you were right until the end. Maybe at the end you could shuffle around ur picks at the end too.

You could make it more competitive by doing a hints:guess ratio like if you guess with 1 hint = 5 points, 2 hints = 4 points etc until 5 hints = 1 point.

Letterboxd gives even better of random lines or funny reviews to make it harder! I love this!!!! I think more movies like these would be good! Like your favorite movies! Or even ones where y’all have different views! I liked the banter and thought it was funny! Also I had to come here to defend M3gan bc I LOVE IT! I know you don’t like silly horror but I had to defend my girl bc the thought of her was scary!!

I really liked Last Voyage of the Demeter. Maybe that was one of my "hot takes" of last year (along with not caring for Talk to Me as much as everyone else seemed to).

Yeah I actually really liked Demeter and I thought it looked really good! Seeing as it was shortlisted for an Oscar for its effects people seem to agree! I really hated Talk to Me I don’t think it made a whole lot of sense.Talk to Me seemed amateurish and a bit all over the place.

Literally watching paint try, I did not get it and honestly feel like it was a scam. The concept was neat but did NOT need to be as long as it was, and the fact that they kept doing the “everything is quiet- LOUD NOISE!!!!” Trope throughout the movie really pissed me off. That crap is so cheap and lazy!

I love a talking movie if there is big pay off when action is involved . That’s why hateful 8 is so good . I really enjoyed the movie ( the monster ) because it dived so deep into the mother daughter story and made you really get to know the characters but when it was gory or scary they hit the mark aswell .

8:57 The Truman Show is about this artificial life and Inception has it take place in a dream world. I'd say comparing it to Don't Worry Darling is quite accurate. Skinamarink used to be a short called 'Heck'. And it's an hour shorter than Skinamarink haha

Based on the "debate" idea: You should do a video in which you both defend a movie you love that the other hates in the form of a powerpoint presentation! Start it off with tropes and general stuff, then have the other person guess which movie you're talking about, and after get really into the details of why you think this movie is so great. You can then rate each presentation on how much they convinced you that this is actually a good movie!

I don't really remember nudity in don't wrorry darling. I think that review might be talking about the sex scenes. I am bit surprised they were not expecting that though as it was definitely talked about in a lot of promo. Maybe they tried to avoid all that and go in blind which makes sense.

I would like to start by saying I really enjoyed what was in this video. It was great with some back and forth, but it lacked a little bit in terms of it being a game. the 3rd clues almost always gave the game away, like Ryan, I sorta figured the video was gonna end 3/3 halfway through the video. I feel like it could be a tad more competitive, and you know, pick more obscure and vague reviews, just for a little more tension. And all the changes have def improved the game from the first video.

I honestly don’t mind these guess the movie games being this chill. I like to play along, so the lack of tension doesn’t bother me at all. But if tension was added, that would be fun too. I think having a list of movies that one person likes and the other dislikes would be perfect for that! And I agree that letterboxd has better reviews for a game like this 😂

I had really high hopes for Crimes of the future but I didn't really understand what was happening and it was so boring. That's maybe the only movie ever that I regret going to see. I've seen other bad movies but bc I go with my friends the experience is always still worth the money, but that one felt like a waste
