Why????????
@DevonahBlackwellT.I.3 жыл бұрын
@@janetjones4310 To track family DNA relationships. Say your cousin is suspected of murdering someone (they collect DNA from any arrested crime suspect these days, as well as those never suspected). If you have DNA tests done, your DNA sequence/data can be searched via a shared database that many of these companies willingly hand over to police and law enforcement agencies. They've used it to solve cold cases and other crimes. I don't have a problem with that necessarily, but who is to say they can't fudge data or tamper with it? We don't even know how they determine the results so how would we dispute anything? Next they'll be trying to use it to predict who's going to become a criminal or more likely to commit a crime.

The documents and information I have uncovered shows me a history I knew nothing about. I am not done but feel more connected to my past and family.

That's pretty cool! Many of those who came early never went through chattel slavery, as it took a couple of years before that institution was created. They were indentured servants and after serving their indenture, they were freed, given land, settled and created families for themselves. Some married (men & women) other europeans and indigenous people as well, so if you also happen to have non-african ancestry as well, it doesn't necessarily mean that one of your ancestors were raped (although, generally speaking rape was abundant as we all know). The Atlantic Slave Trade is where African kingdoms actively participated in making them fabulously rich hence the name Golden kingdoms. Such as Dahomey, Whydah and Allada and many others. This is pretty much the same thing but don't expect your score to be the same. Ivory Coast and Ghana includes Liberia Mali includes Sierra Leone. You may see Benin and Togo which 23andme does not have but some of that spills over into Ghana and Nigeria. Oh 23andme has Senegambian and Guinean. Ancestry DNA has Senegal but Gambia is included as part of that region

The best way to vouch for accuracy is to look at the results of Africans. If they get an African as being the majority of their parents country or very close you can see if it makes sense or not

I have done Genetree.com over 14 years ago. Of course, the results and techniques were not as sophisticated. My son utilized 23 and me. What is surprising is the lack of native American. It was always thought my maternal grandfather, who exhibited many physical characteristics of some of the members US southwestern tribes. Even one of my ex wives claimed to be part native American...Not so, based on the genetic makeup of our son.

@First Last: I believe a whole lot of folk claiming to be “indigenous Native Americans” would find out that’s not the case if they were to get tested also.

Esau-Edom / Amalek and the crafty council invented and created these ancestry sites for many reasons. The primary one was to ensure the confusion continues amongst our people and the concealment of our true identity is never revealed. We are the Israelites of which the Bible clearly speaks of and of the lineage of Shem. Our Patriarchs are Abraham, Isaac and Jacob whether we know and accept it or not. The demons and kingdoms who rule this earth have invested alot of ideological, educational, political, military and economic capital for centuries to ensure the greatest identity theft and crime in human history is never revealed. No need to believe me, Deutoronomy 28:68 just scratches the surface. The Most High - Yah said that my people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. However, 1619-2019 marked the 400 year anniversary of our captivity and bondage in modern day Babylon which also came to end according to Biblical Prophecy. Now all nations across the earth who partaked in the mistreatment of the Israelites scattered throughout all four corners of the earth will now begin to be judged. Family, reclaim your true identity and come back to accept and embrace the spirit of The Most High and true and divine liberation will be obtained. Shalom and All Praises To The Most High - Yah. 🙏🙏🙏

These companies simply match your DNA with people alive today that are also on their databases. Read a great book that debunked these DNA tests ‘Superior - the return of race science’ by Angela Saini

They've never claimed otherwise though. This is nothing new.

Peace and blessings to you all. With the increase in samples the AncestryDNA will become more accurate thus the change in results. An advantage of the AncestryDNA is the ability to search your DNA matches by geographically location. So, we can search for continental African matches and correspond with them to find out what tribes they are from. Afterall, they are your continental cousins. A few persons have been successful in locating their continental relatives using this method with great results. I am using this method and awaiting responses. African Ancestry only give you a small fraction of your DNA results, while AncestryDNA looks at your entire DNA. Over hundred of years your African DNA is multi-tribe composition - a true African. Thanks for sharing and continued blessings to you guys in your journey of life.
