@Messy Michon Live: Tiffany Henyard and this event she hosted is NOT representative of what the Village of Dolton is all about. Four (out of 6) Dolton Trustees who are loyal to the residents, and the majority of Dolton citizens did not approve of this event. Not only was the event unapproved and inappropriate, it was a "so-called" free event at the expense of the tax paying citizens of Dolton, as are all the events and parties she hosts in the Village. The majority of the people who attended that event came from neighboring towns and cities, including Chicago. Dolton citizens are protesting and rallying against Henyard and the corrupt criminal administration she hired, including the Dolton Police whom she has weaponized against the citizens who openly disagree with her. The Trustees and residents even recalled her in 2022, but she took it to court, and the judge (whom she bought) sided in her favor and said the recall was not valid due to some technicality. For the 3 years that Henyard has been in office, the residents, businesses, and 4 (of 6) Trustees have been complaining to the powers that be, including the FBI. The FBI FINALLY showed up to the Dolton Village Hall on April 19th of this year and issued several subpoenas. About a week later, the FBI showed up at the Thornton Township Hall (where Henyard serves as Supervisor) and issued more subpoenas. A week or so before the FBI showed up, the Dolton Village Administrator, Keith Freeman, was indicted for Bankruptcy fraud. Also, recently, it was revealed that one of Henyard's 2 loyal Trustees, Andrew Holmes, allegedly had non-consensual sex with a young assistant to Henyard. Instead of doing the right thing, Henyard fired the young lady when she reported the matter to Henyard. That situation is under investigation. And more and more corruption continues to be uncovered regarding Henyard and her cohorts.

Andrew Holmes SMH, I know that all the deceased civil rights activist, Evers, Martin, Malcolm X and others rolled over in their graves. Is this what we marched for in Selma Alabama, Montgomery, Alabama all while black people being attacked by police dogs, blast with a water cannons, beat down in the streets while we marched in peaceful protests and had put our family at risk until we were all gunned down as the crowed watched in horror. RIP Edgar Meager, Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Emmett Till, the four little girls who died in a church bombing in Birmingham, Alabama and so many others. It's a way to celebrate and keep our dignity.
