The plaintiff brings his daughter’s stepfather to court. He says the defendant backed his car into his car and caused major damage, so he’s suing. The defendant argues he agreed to fix the damage that he caused, but the plaintiff wants him to fix every little detail, which he refuses to do. He’s countersuing for defamation.

The fact that they ex-wife and step dad avoided fixing the car and giving the insurance information is crazy. The stepdad was responsible and should not have had to be brought to court to fix the daughters car...who he loves so much and is at every game.

First, the defendant caused all this himself. Just file a insurance claim and be done. He never really explained why he didn't have the car fixed. He didn't want to file a claim because his rates would have been sky high after Second, I would never and most of you wouldn't either have your 16 year old accept delivery of a car that had been fixed by a body shop. There's a ton of stuff that could still be wrong. Third, the mom has to do better. Clearly they both care about the daughter so at some point they need to come together. If there was an issue between the men the mom should be the one to tamper down the hostility between them.

Defendant shld have fixed the damages he caused by his own negligence. Either by utilizing his own auto insurance or paying out of pocket cost (more concerned with the potential rising cost of his auto insurance premium) he ultimately didn't use so plantiff bio - dad had to open a claim under his insurance provider. Zero Accountability Dude maybe hiding actual stand-up manhood somewhere under his 10 gallon hat with a whole lot of excuses. It's how you move & conduct yourself appearance can be fooling.
