The Estonian one also had Eesti in the title which is Estonia in Estonian (just look for countryball shorts, they usually say that)

Another big hint was Köln which is Cologne. He should know that, its one of the most famous electors in Eu4.

as a Swiss (and French), let me tell you, Switzerland does have 4 official languages... then, for each German speaking canton (17), there are about 2 dialects that are different enough that many dialect speaker don't understand those speaking another dialect... so when I saw the question with the option Swiss German, I was like: which one?

Almost every video had a hint what the language was: 0:30 Script if that helps 1:30 ''Eesti'' looks like Estonian 2:27 Literally ''Deutsche in Hollywood'' title 3:05 BBC Persian 4:04 I think he says ''Kartuli'' which means Georgian and there is a unique script 5:02 Only Chinese characters 5:50 No click sounds, not Xhosa I love how he notices in 6:45 a nasal sound in the word ''są'' and thinks it is French. Btw Polish ''są'' and French ''sont'' both mean the same thing.

Of course there are hints but these are only hints if you have at least some knowledge of these languages involved, which is the point of the quiz in the first place.

I don't speak either language but honestly, it's quite easy to tell. I knew it was Estonian because it sounds way softer and has much longer diphthongs than Finnish. Anyway, I've heard that saying before lol

I don't know why it is but in rare cases both sound similar. I'm polish myself but recently I've realized couple in train weren't speaking Polish but French after like 5 minutes of listening. That was strange.

esperanto was a language made by a polish guy and it was a language meant to be spoken by everyone. it is a pretty easy language to learn being a combination of some european languages.

Language family wise, Urdu is actually closer to Serbo-Croatian and Greek than Georgian is. Those three belong to the Indo-European language family, while Georgian isn't related to any other language family.

Overall, Urdu is Indo Aryan language with Farsi script. Just writing system is different while grammatical system, most vocabularies and whatever makes it a language is just like Hindi. Simply, Hindi and Urdu are like purple and violet, lemon and lime, etc. Almost same

Also the letters in the video are defenitely not Greek, Cyrillic or Latin, so it had to be Georgian as Urdu would be pretty easy to tell for anyone who knows vaguely what Hindi or even Indian accent sounds like

Well Limburgish is a dialect spoken by som of the people in Limburg (Netherlands and Belgium) The province was split between them

4:36 since when has "Chinese" been a spoken language? Nearly 300 languages are spoken in different parts of China, the 2 main of which people think of being Mandarin or Cantonese

China kind of kinda has a north south like the US, Between the Mandarin North and Cantonese South. And then there's western China which we don't talk about(The region with Xinjiang/East Turkestan And Tibet)

Limburgish is my native language, it basically sounds like a weird German dialect. It's spoken in the Dutch province of Limburg, the Belgian province of Limburg and some border areas in Germany.
This language needs to be STOPPED...
