Well... I usually say like that too 'cause that's how I read the first time I saw his name (in a school book prior to know this franchise) and as such I had no reference of how really supposed to sound. See, my parents are from Italy (I was born and raise elsewhere 'cause they used to move a lot) so my first instinct when I see a ch in the beginning of a word or a cc in the middle is pronounce with a sound of t/k depending on the vowel that follows due to their accent. So there is that.

honestly in the first fate it was only Saber who was a genderbent historical character and they didn't make it a huge THING in the series until we get to the spinoffs which not only had multiple saber clones but made 'predominantly male historical or myhtological character female for increasingly arbitrary and ill-explained reasons' a huge recurring THING

And most of their appearances are based on the specific part of their legends that made them famous or based on their names or from a different timeline of their lives (before they died) or from a different world (what ifs scenarios). Hence, why they are not the same as the Originals that we know & imagine.
