@@fancyfallacy It's really depends on place where you live and etc, coz price for leaving in food in Ukraine is much different from prices in other countries (I can easily live month for 600$). For example my prices for portrait is 25$ and for close up beauty is 50$ - it is middle/higher middle price range at CIS region, and it's really hard to get orders even for this price. I also wish to make more on my work as I have been spending so much time on studying and mastering my skills each day but I literally don't know where to take orders from for higher price range as concurrence nowadays on each platform is huge 🤷 And fore sure I understand that your comments is not attack or something, it's all good, we have this kind of talks about value of work with friends retouchers all the time 😅

This is so interesting, I'm an artist and even if I know that there are people with less skill than me are making a lot of money with commissions I'm too ashamed to ask even 5$ for a drawing, it's so sad to see that there are people who understimates their work 🥺

Another sad side effect of people charging so little is people expect to get good results for VERY little money. Making it impossible for freelance artists and designers to live off of their jobs due to price dumping. I totally understand being hesitant about charging more, but 5$? That person spent at least an hour retouching that is my guess. Very poor payment :(

It's great to hear such feedback! I made the 20$ one and requirements was "make your best retouch" so we were pretty much free to do wherever I feel is good on my taste, I choose to fix the shape a little bit as in my opinion that was suitable. Of course, if I receive more directed requirements I follow them more straightly plus I have available revisions so after the first check I can easily fix everything that client as for. This specific order was more on the free artistic side so I was able to create on Jessica's beautiful image ^^, And thanks for your opinion, it's nice to hear a different one!

One thing I love about these Fiverr videos you do is how we get to see each artist's interpretation of the photo. It's interesting to see how each one felt the photo could be improved, and no two are ever alike (except the one where she just sent you back the original photo😂).
