How would we introduce the return fare (two way) in this solution? Say 1way is 100 and 2way is 170. No doubt it would make our life and the calculations harder, but would be an important point to consider right?
@mihirtiwari61242 жыл бұрын
as he mentioned about the pass first, the passes are for both incoming and outgoing routes . The same figure was used to calculate the daily ticket charge which automatically is bound to include the charges of incoming and outgoing route on daily basis...Moreover his approach was based on approximation, I guess more or less he might be near the actual figure

In the LMV part, they have assumed that per day charges are Rs. 100 which makes monthly charges of Rs. 3000 but they also assumed Rs 4000 for the monthly pass. How can be charges for the monthly pass greater than the aggregate monthly expenditure?
@anirbanchoudhury2313 жыл бұрын
not entirely sure here, but in case the pass isn't 24/7, wouldn't you require 2 passes to go and come back by the same route?
@shubhamjain-li5tn3 жыл бұрын
@@anirbanchoudhury231 yeah we need to buy 2 tickets to go and come back, but that would cost 200 per day and since they have charged 100 only that's meant they have assumed it only one visit.

Peak hour will be mostly for the working professionals and so low traffic will be for the heavy vehicles like trucks Therefore instead of taking 32k into vehicle type we should do the calculations based on the traffic type based on the vehicle and the subscription plan

Even if we assume that 2Ws are allowed on the sealink shouldn't the split for them be higher? 2Ws on road in India and even Mumbai are always higher than 4Ws. So definitely more than 20%, I would have gone with 40%.

11200 LMV cross the toll daily but not all purchase the monthly pass on the same day. Hence on average 375 monthly passes are purchased daily.

exactly this 11200 is the no of LMV pass each day then why is the need to divide by 30 am not getting, can somebody help me please.
@aasaanbehera61472 жыл бұрын
@@dilkashgazala831 The user named Fantasy star above, explained it really well. Let me try to elaborate this with the help of 2 scenarios See, 11200 LMV pass each day with a monthly pass. (A pass which is valid for 30 days) for which you have to pay upfront and then you don't have to pay anything for the next 30 days. Now imagine two scenarios - Scenario 1 - BW sealink only allows the sale of the pass on the first day of the month (lets say they sell it online). So they have earned the entire monthly pass revenue of the whole month (30 days) on a single day, which is the first day of the month (say 1st of April) and earn nothing from passes for the next 29 days. Scenario 2 - BW sealink allows the sale of the pass on any day of the month. So, all 11200 vehicles are free to purchase their passes any day of the month. And hence assuming that the number of passes sold everyday are the same, the no of passes sold per day will be 11200/30 It is this second scenario that has been presented in the video.

There's something weird: You assumed that 1) a passing LMV has a 50% probability of having a monthly pass 2) monthly passes are sold everyday with equal probability Then don't you think there will be a HUGE difference b/w start of the month : where very few vehicles have monthly pass end of the month: where the no. fo passes have cumulated over the month ?
@surajmurali54663 жыл бұрын
Monthly passes can be bought on any day of the month. So he is taking monthly pass revenue and diving by 30 to get an average number.
@nishchaysolanki11123 жыл бұрын
A monthly pass doesn't need to be for a specific month. A pass bought on 15 Jun will be valid till 15 July, not 30 June. Hence the problem you've stated would not be present.

Hi Prabhat, there are various opportunity provided by the Big 4 firms for graduate freshers in profiles like audit, taxation etc. You can work there for sometime, understand the working environment, get a command in your field and then after sometime you can definitely try for Big 3. Option 2 is Big4s also provide with education loans and even sponsor education if someone is willing to study further. The path is little longer, but I can assure that there's definitely a way and I hope Mr Prakhar Sinha will agree to this too! All the best and Cheers!!
