Long curtains that puddle are nice looking when you first mount them, but I have two dogs and dog hair makes puddling curtains very ugly within a day or two. That room is going to be very pretty though. I'd like to see part 2.

100%! Cat hair is bad enough, but dog hair is definitely hard to keep up with! Our German Shepherd's hair got everywhere! Love our fur babies, though, don't we? ❤

We had some difficulties with her horses 🐎 and 🦄 🦄 unicorns site but we are back and will work on making better vids we started between the holidays then all vids were removed due to my older daughter had my 8 yr old email 18 yrs old I never checked it not very computer literate yet working on it but it's all straightened out now we will start to make new vids now excited see ya soon just uploaded catching a leprechaun vid In the morning we will see what happens ash sleeping hrs ago I'm finally going to bed now see ya in the am night 🌙 😀

Deborah, wonderful to see you & your paint brush working away. Love the color of the room - sorry, but I also love the texture of the ceilings! I think it complements the room. The flooring is beautiful & that rug so perfect. You wouldn't even have to remove the rug, you can just add an accent rug, as seasons change, over top. The cabinet is large & in charge, I would want it to keep quiet & not take away from the beautiful calm in the room. Whatever you decide, make your eyes happy. Love seeing your "helper" with that sweet face, little paw inspecting that pesky sticker and checking out the new carpet. Adorable! The room is looking great! I enjoy hearing people's different perspectives on decorating. I personally prefer the drapes above the floor line...just enough so they don't get dusty and are easy to vacuum under quickly. I guess I'm an impatient person on things like that. Loved your idea of the hooks for the curtain rod! Very creative.

I purchased a ornately decorated bed frame 5 years ago that is a perfect match to your diy bed frame mine is with a 5 ft arched ornate curly headboard. I love french style. I placed the bed in a navy wallpapered bedroom. We used honey colored antiques in the room to give warmth. SILVER AND AQUA VASES WITH fairy lights inside create ambience. Quilts on the bed accented plaid flannel drapes in navy and a luxurious soft gray plush throw complete the bed. The room has a beautifully upholstered arm chair for use when dressing. It has a small dresser with 3 matching bookcases filled with books. My only issue is no light fixture mounted on ceiling. Lamps do not feel right but a must have. I though about using a Victorian lamp with a glass ivory shade. What do you think. Also have a wall clock to match the bed. Change bedding seasonally just like you do as well as silk flowers and bedding colors to coordinates with seasons. Lighter weights and colors in summer darker colors warmer fabrics in winter.

Your room sounds amazing. I would love to see photos of it. Lighting is so important ans always a challenge for me. Partly because of the new light bulbs available. I always try to find ones that cast a soft white or warm light. The bright LED bluish are the worst! Have a wonderful week! Xoxoxo

Pleased to see you ! WD40 works pretty well removing that sticky residue off items--worth a try next time. The cabinet is gorgeous and I would paint it a creamy white with gold accents to make it look more "frenchie"! Ha! Anxious to see it all decorated & finished so don't keep me hanging too long!!! Know you will have a beautiful place for guests to sleep in.

I think i might wait to pick color for cabinet until you get bedding. My first inclination was a creamy light color with a brown glaze as it looks you’re going light and airy in this room. So far, its gorgeous. You’re the artist so I know you’ll pick the perfect color.❤️

You can get wrinkles out of curtains or other fabrics by tossing them in the dryer with a few ice cubes.ooks like they have been ironed.
