It can apparently save you from memetic hazards in the SCP universe, too. One of the (in-universe) orientation docs about memetics says that you can literally save yourself by recontextualizing an infohazard as abruptly as possible. Weird statue thingy makes you want to partake in a ritual to summon [DATA EXPUNGED]? Grab the statue with both hands, and WEAR IT LIKE A HAAAAAT!

Recontextualizing any event can be helpful. I once scaled a tube made of chickenwire 8 stories high down to the ground by pretending I was wearing VR goggles. Or pretend you are going on an adventure instead of to work.

As a kid I remember my friend made "time out zones" to place vandals. It was just a closed off path that had an entertainer, a bathroom, icecream shop, and a free ride thats exit took them out of the time out zone. "How can anyone be mad when there is free ice cream!"

One myth my brother once told me was that when angry guests vandalized park benches/lamp posts, there was actually an animation of them facing the object, kicking the air which would break the object, and them then laughing in the air with their hands facing upwards. I kept trying to catch guests in the act in this way. I also thought security guards could catch vandals and physically escort them out of the park.

When I was a kid and I used to believe security guards would "escort" the vandals out of the park (eliminate them from the game) because I would lose track of them and never see them again but what was actually happening was that their mood was just normalizing after they went on a ride or something.

I remember one time I was checking the guest thoughts list, and I noticed that red face for the first time. I was surprised because I had never seen it before and wandered what the face meant. I know now that these types of guests break benches, and that's what security guards are for. The first time playing, you'd think they were absolutely useless. I remember hiring a ton of security guards when that message would pop up telling me there was a lot of vandalism in my park. I didnt see it doing anothing though, the guests would still vandalize my park. Unless you set up patrols for the guards in areas with high amounts of dirty paths, they are useless. Honestly, overall security guards are still kind of useless if you can keep guests happy by keeping your park clean, and stop guests from destroying your benches. I used to always wonder why guests would want to vandalize my park. Now i know these things. There are some interesting things about this game.

When I was a kid, the first time I saw a RAGE guest, I thought he was going to like, murder another guest or something. So I made a single tile hole at the veeeeeerrrry far corner of my park (a time out zone, basically), and picked up the Rage guest, gave them a VERY brisk shaking around with the claw (because I thought it was punishment to them), then dropped them in that little prison hole and sorta just forgot about them until I started getting "Guest 24 is lost" notification, then i'd go pick them back up - they were usually in the very tired phase at this point because they were basically left in the hole for years, and put them right in front of the park exit so they could leave.
