I have always considered myself to have a claim of coming from Minnesota. My great great grandparents homesteaded in the area around Montevideo. They had 12 children and helped build the first church. My great grandmother, my grandmother, my mother and I were all born in Montevideo. As a writer and cast member of SNL, he was hilarious, especially his "Stuart Smalley" character. He was a respected, affable and beloved member of the United States Senate representing Minnesota, my home state. Though he voluntarily stepped down from the Senate because that affability and his comedic tendencies didn't set well with some women who he was a bit to close to. After he relinquished his seat, many regretted their stance to have him step down. He did a lot for the country and our state, ironically in women's right issues. He even stood up and fought for young woman who took her case to court against Halliburton. Yes, the man hates Ted Cruz!! .... Donald Trump would never get an idea from Looney Tunes!!. That is far to highbrow for him to undestand. The only character he could relate to is the Tasmanian Devil!!
