@@RateMyRadio had a 5000 myself for a while now and know the radio very well also a freind of mine ZL2SDX has just recently purchased one and he is very pleased with it , if i can help out in anyway with any settings etc then please don't hesitate to e mail me my e mail adress is on QRZ.COM my call iz 2E0 LFA....... in case you didn't know the oled issue has been sorted on the newer models of the 5000 as well which is a big 👍👍
