David is right. There were some funny moments on the show. I forget what episode, but there was a scene where Annie told Matt to go to bed. Matt:"you can't tell me to go to bed". Simon:"you're never too old to do what your mother tells you".
@heavenlygal10112 күн бұрын
That was in season 5. Season 5 was definitely the height of 7th Heave being funny on purpose, especially with Matt's character....😅 On a character development side, not sure I cared that much for that, dumbing down Matt's character, but Barry Watson played, portrayed that well for sure.

Questions: 1) Robbie. He left abruptly. He was a favorite character.. what was in like working with him & saying goodbye. 2) the older Camden children did not make a showing when Eric has his double-bypass surgery.. why? Where they doing gother things? 3) Does Jessica regret being the "heel" of the show? She was pretty "bad" in a few seasons. After hearing your behind the scene stories, especially how Barry would play between takes. You can see it as you watch. He was pretty funny to watch
@LilyZerep8 күн бұрын
🙁 I hated it when Robbie left. I mean I get why he wasn't really needed anymore because Kevin took over being the level-headed man in the house after Eric (since Matt wasn't there and Simon left later) but still, I wished he showed up for Lucy's wedding and Simon's almost wedding. I bet Robbie would have been a big help to Simon how he just kept on having casual sex with women.

Wow, so none of you remember Mary’s dramatic downfall?? Vandalizing the gym, missing out on her college scholarship, friends with Franky and Johnny with a lot of mishaps with pot and drinking, debt troubles, stealing from the twins, etc. to finally just get shipped off to buffalo with the cornel and ruth! Man, that was a big deal for a Camden!

Hello Beverly, David and Mackenzie: Nice to see another episode of the podcast. These are easily one of my favorite moments of the (every other) Mondays. It's great to remember the details of 7th Heaven and your times as child actors, and (in today's episode) about some of the most special guest stars. I learned a lot and also laughed in the process. 😅 Amazing episode as usual: although I feel like this one did not have a specific main topic, it was a great discussion on several small topics. And I think that such dynamic is great, because the conversation can jump from one place to another, and funnier things can happen from just following the memory lane. But on the other hand, it would be nicer if you had some sort of planning for the topics you are going to cover. I guess you can figure out a middle point for the next episodes. 🤔 I did not know what a Winnebago was, but I checked it out, and I guess I just learned my English Word of the Day. That would be perhaps the best way to do a Road Trip across the United States. You should do it. I definitely support the idea of "Camdens on the Road" or "Caravanning with the Camdens" (either name is awesome). It could be a series of vlogs about the trip from California to Florida, for your next 90s Con. Quite an adventure, but I am sure you guys are up to the challenge. 😄 Please don't do the "switching drivers without stopping", because it sounds illegal and very dangerous. I still remember that episode (was it "Nothing Endures But Change"?) where Mary and Lucy played that game of switching drivers while the traffic light was on red, and someone crashed the car. Sometimes I believe that Mack is the most daredevil of the bunch of you. All I hope is that she uses a helmet when riding the Motorcycle. 😰 The main topic in this episode was all the guest stars that 7th Heaven had. I really would have liked for you guys to talk a little more about people like Deborah Raffin and Graham Jarvis. One of my early favorites was Alice Hirson (Jenny Jackson, Annie's mother), but now that I think about it, perhaps you guys don't remember her since she just appeared at the very beginning (and on Annie's delivery episode, and when Eric kind of died for a moment). I loved Alice Hirson. ☺ You talked about people like Shiri Appleby and Jason Bear, but I don't recognize them. No idea. I would love if you ever talk about people like the Olsen twins or Christine Lakin, because they did appear on the show, and they represented Big Crossovers from different sitcoms from the 90s. I remember that the first time I watched the episode where the Olsen Twins appeared, as soon as the opening credits said "Mary Kate Olsen" and "Ashley Olsen" my mind just Blew Out!! Seriously: my head exploded. 🤯 That piece of info about "by law you need to have least 3 hours of school a day" was really interesting. I did not know that, but it makes sense. And I do agree with the fact that Beverly was the nerdy one (and that Jessica was always behind the schedule on the schooling). The mix between "being schooled on the show set" and "seldom going to actual school on specific days" must have been exhausting. On retrospective, I guess that it must have been hard to actually learn stuff when on such a loose and inconsistent schedule. 🙄 My highlights of this episode were: - 0:12 Why was Beverly crying? Who made her cry? 😥 - 4:45 "I learned how to switch drivers without stopping". It sounds SO dangerous. By the way: At this point I am collecting evidence of Mack's bad behavior, so that the policemen can catch her and check the evidence. 😂 - 7:44 As soon as you mentioned Peter Graves on the first episodes of this podcast, I recalled "the candies inside joke". I was really wondering if you were gonna remember it. I did not know those were play-doh props. 😯 - 12:04 That anecdote from Beverly was SO funny. Beverly making those faces when her mind was blank. I guess I would react that way if I met showbiz stars (like you guys). 😉 - 14:17 "I would have attacked you too then... deserved it". Don't encourage Domestic Violence. 😅 - 17:01 Beverly speaking in singsong. Quite funny. 🤣 - 39:58 "So I still to this day in all my personal relationships I need an apple box" Kinda sad to hear that... That being said, I am not a tall person, so I understand your pain. 🥺 - 40:33 "I'm 5'2'' " If I remember correctly, you said you were 5'1'' in the premiere episode. I should check it out to confirm (your lie). 😛 I guess that a TV show crew is kinda accustomed of the actors (especially children) being interested in the how-is-it-done questioning and checking the technical devices behind cameras. On the other hand, it's funny to hear that you guys tried to crack the staff members between takes. It seems you actually ruined entire takes (and then Barry complains about being long hours working on the show. LOL). 😂 Once again, I have some more questions for you guys: - Which set space do you think was the most underused in the series? Which set would you have liked to use more on the show? 🤔 - Did you guys befriend the members of the staff while filming the show? Which member of the show Staff was your best friend back then? 🙂 - You talked about how you were schooled on-set while filming 7th Heaven. Which was your favorite subject to study? 🙃 - Did you ever cry for real while filming the show? Like a really sad/dramatic scene that broke you. 😨 - Was any of your real-life parents or relatives kinda jealous of your family-like relationships with the other actors from the show? 😐 - And a crazy random question: What is your favorite ice cream flavor? (I need to know this... seriously). 😋 I was secretly hoping that this podcast episode was going to be you guys playing that card game, just as you posted last week on a KZbin Short. It would have been THE Best. I am not complaining, but I am now impatiently waiting for the day I get to see it. I hope we can watch it soon. On the other hand, the prospect of future podcast episode with Guests is what I look forward the most. Catherine Hicks please?? She would be THE BEST guest star for this show. ☺ Ok. I'll see you guys next next Monday. 👍 Bye Agustin.

Question: Will the stuff that happened with Stephen ever be addressed? It is like he is just wiped off the earth and I think it is more mature to mention it directly rather than try to sweep it under the rug. Ha. One real problem that goes under the rug is suicidality and religion. Out of 7 kids, statistically speaking, at least one of them is deeply depressed as a result of growing up Christian. ...but American television even in 2025 isn't ready for that storyline.

Unpopular opinion: I wish people would just stop going on about Stephen Collins and demanding the cast speak about him. I don't think most people have ever really bothered to look into the facts behind everything that went on with him. Let me be clear, I am not downplaying or making excuses for what took place, but people make it out to be something it's not. They act like he was 40 years old trying to sleep with 7 year olds and it wasn't like that. Also, he made very clear that the reason he didn't come out with talking about the incidents is because he thought that would stir up old wounds and make things harder for those involved. When his ex wife threatened to leak the recorded therapy sessions he came forward and admitted every detail and apologized. What nobody ever talks about is the fact that he was subjected to similar treatment when he was younger. Clearly there were some psychological things festering in him when those events with underage girls took place. Eric Camden was a crucial part of the show and Stephen's portrayal of him deserves untarnished credit. Everyone has made mistakes, we have all sinned and fallen short. The Bible says all sins are equal in the eyes of God. As much vitriolic hatred as this man has endured it is a miracle he hasn't committed suicide. I rarely leave comments on social media of any kind because it's like permanent virtual graffiti. Even after you die what you write on the internet is there indefinitely. But I feel strongly about this. Just let the cast do their podcast without demanding they talk about Stephen if they don't want to. It probably was very hard for them to be brave enough to do this knowing people would want to hear about it. You don't have to feel the way I do, but just leave the guy alone. It's been decades. He's apologized and has completely disappeared from the industry. What more do you want.
@saraelisabeth903812 күн бұрын
I fully agree with not demanding that they talk about him, but I won’t cut him any slack. I am glad if he never did it again though. His reputation will be tarnished forever and it is black and white. What you’re talking about is a “gray area” which doesn’t exist for a lot of people in cases like this.
