I grew up watching your show, and seen every episode......... more than once. I'm the same age as Bev. I just watched a Then and Now of 7th Heaven. It's crazy to realize the reality all our ages now. Where does the time go. I just discovered this KZbin channel. I love 7th Heaven and I'm loving this channel. Thank you. I hope 7th Heaven has a reboot one day. I love how they say "We were the little show that could", lol. The show always got picked up because it was a great wholesome family friendly show that tackled real issues. It was legit and I absolutely loved it and honestly, would love to see a reboot. At different points in my life, I related to either this character or that character, this situation or that situation... It truly was great! I feel like Lucy would be a full time missionary somewhere. Matt would be chief of surgery. I think Ruthie would run a horse rescue or animal assisted therapy place. I agree with Simon being an entrepreneur. Mary living her best life with Carlos.

After their little vacation in an RV they all realize how special it is to have their roots and memories in one place and they return home and get back in the swing of things. Eric and Annie continue ministering to the community and helping all they can. They both live a long healthy life despite his prior heart conditions. They embrace grandparent life for decades to come. Matt and Sarah enjoy being doctors, they have their twins and a third baby down the road. They live a simple life working and running kids to school/sports practices. Mary continues to be a basketball coach, flight attendant and mother. She realizes she doesn't truly love Carlos and they decide to Co-Parent amicably. She reconnects with Ben who loves her so much he's happy to embrace a blended family with her. Lucy and Kevin of course stay together! She goes on to have 5 children total, works as a counselor in her father's church and her life parallels her parents in a lot of ways. Savannah grows up to be like a little blend of Lucy and Ruthie. Simon becomes a business man, reconnects with Cecelia, they go on to get married, foster and adopt children after being inspired by her parents. He finds healing from all his teen year trauma in fatherhood. Ruthie lives the single life, traveling the world and enjoying her hobbies and friends. She has a few serious relationships but never prioritizes them over her own life. Around age 32 she marries and has two sons who also take on her love of horses. The twins go on to open a vet clinic together. They take on their fathers ministry heart but for animals. They all stay close with each other and return to their glennoak home for the holidays together as the perfect 7th heaven family we all know and love. You're welcome 😊

Except for Simon and Cecilia ending up together... that seems a bit too unrealistic. I could see a more mature Ben and a more mature Mary being able to make it work later on. Also Lucy wouldn't just stay as a counselor and her father's church because her dad left on that RV trip so she would have become the actual pastor and when her dad came back he would have been retired, and it would already be her church. Being the busybody that he is, after trying and failing to stay uninvolved, he would have become something but he definitely wouldn't take the church back. He could run a outreach/mission like a halfway house or Helping ppl get off the street.

Dealing with less admin tasks would leave more time for the part he cared the most about, getting close with and helping people. Besides I must repeat taking back to the church after she earned it would be a real jerk move.

Hello Beverly, Mackenzie and David: Greetings again from your biggest fan in Quito - Ecuador. Nice to see once again an episode of the Podcast. These are really my favorite moments of the Mondays (a great way to start every other week), and I hope they keep coming for a long time. 😊 This episode was great!! The topics discussed were really interesting, I learned a lot, and it was funny as usual. As a plus, Mackenzie talked a lot and that was awesome. I think I find her personality and attitude like the best one among you all. She is carefree and chill all the time. She seems to be a really honest straightforward girl. I hope Mack gets to talk more. Also, her straight hair looks weird (I am so accustomed to Ruthie's curly hair) but I understand it's her decision. ✌ The idea behind "how much has the character influenced the real person" is something that most actors must face at some point in their lives. And in this case, I really believe that you are just like the Camden kids, since you grew up on those shoes. That comes with its advantages and its flaws, but I daresay such great role models (being raised as Camdens) made you the best kind of persons. And that is why you all cherish the memories of the show, and you do behave like real siblings. 😉 The most surprising segment of the podcast was learning those facts about the sets. I never realized that the high school Halls and the Hospital halls were the same (just with a trick of color paint). Impressive: I gotta rewatch the episodes where they appear, to check the similarities. And I always kind of knew that the church was a real site (because of the different lightning and some of the exterior shoots). If I had worked on a place that had a set that had a pool table, I would spend all my free time in there. 😝 I would like to address a kinda delicate topic that I noticed in past episodes, but especially in this one: Why does Beverly act so defensive when George Stults is mentioned, and when talking about Lucy's kissing / boyfriends? It's kind of weird, because it looks like Beverly is trying to emphasize that she did not have real kisses or boyfriends or any past relationship prior to her real-life marriage. It's strange, because it seems that she is trying to justify herself to her husband. 😕 Beverly: I really hope you realize that the fact that your TV show character (from 20+ years ago) had boyfriends and romantic relationships does not affect your real-life persona and does not diminish you as a person. I am sure that your husband understands that you love him (and he loves you as well), and that your career as an actress is completely separate from your personal feelings. You need to reconcile the fact that you can talk freely about the fictional character of Lucy Camden because you Beverly as a person are much more than Lucy. 🙏 My favorite moments of the episode were: - 2:59 Mackenzie saying that "obviously Ruthie and I really looked a lot alike too" "Yes. Crazy, right? Is crazy how that happens" Yeah. I laughed. 😅 - 6:36 Mack saying that the high school Halls and the Hospital halls were the same. That really blew my mind. 😲 - 9:13 "It was actually in that chair like right here" And then David kinda freaks out (because of Bev's date story). 😆 - 16:55 “Kissing is like dancing: some people lead, and some people follow" Excellent words from Mackenzie. She is so grounded. 😯 - 18:05 This entire segment of you guys discussing your tape colors is Hilarious. As someone said on the premiere of this video "It's like people discussing what their auras should be". 🤣🤣 - 18:45 My favorite part of the episode: Beverly gets legit sad by something as trivial as her white tape. I just can't get over the idea of Beverly having second thoughts about why she was assigned white. (And David planting the doubt thoughts on it). 😂😂 - 21:11 Mackenzie's instant answer about living in Scotland in a castle. She had a solid complete answer delivered right on the spot. That future is so Ruthie I totally believe it. 👍 - 22:41 Please don't insult Simon. 😠 - 24:11 “I don't really need hot water. As long as I have fire and a pot I can shower and clean myself" Mackenzie Rosman 2024 😛 - 24:41 And Mackenzie mimicking taking a cold shower. I 100% believe she would do it. 😅 - 34:38 "We need Grandma Catherine" "...and Katie". LMAO 😂 - 37:15 - Mackenzie talking like a parrot. I died laughing... 🤣 The main discussion about the futures of the Camden kids is excellent. I do admire the fact that Mackenzie has a crystal-clear idea of Ruthie's future. So totally like the real Mack. I also agree with David's idea of how Simon should have gone into business school (I always pictured Simon as an important businessman working for Goldman Sachs). I do remember that Simon went to film school and I did not like it, because it was not in character (the 7th Heaven crew should have taken that into consideration when David was leaving the show). And I totally disagree with Beverly's idea of Lucy being divorced (and that "George was just nice as a friend"). I just can't understand why Bev behaves like this. 😞 Please remember to ask that specific question to future guests. I would love to hear Jessica's and Catherine's answers. I guess Barry will just come up with any joke, but still valuable. As for myself, my ideas for you guys are: Lucy is happily married... to Jimmy Moon with a couple of kids and being a minister herself. Simon is a (still mushroom-haircut blonde) successful businessman working in Europe, still single because he is just focused on work and the lifestyle. And I agree with Mackenzie's idea for her future. ROFL. 😁 I remember that the show stated "Glenoak - California" from early on, and let me tell you this real anecdote: Back in 1996-1997 I recall that I searched for the whereabouts of where Glenoak was. There was no Internet, so kid me searched on my School Library for maps and I didn't find Glenoak. And later I went to a bigger City Library, but I couldn't find it. So I deduced it was a fictional place. I was kind of disappointed. Years later I read about the fictional places you used for filming locations. 🤔 As usual I have more questions for you guys. I hope one day you can read these and answer a couple of those: - What was your 1 favorite piece of clothing that your character wore on 7th Heaven? Do you think your character's style influenced your real-life person's style? - Have you ever found pieces of 7th Heaven memorabilia in unexpected places in your everyday life? (Like in a bar, restaurant or any other place). Did you sign them / identify yourselves to the people in there? - Apart from 7th Heaven, Which one other movie/TV role is the one that people most recognizes you from? - Did anyone of you ever copied the 7th Heaven house interior design to your own houses/departments? Did it influence your taste in house design? - Which drama topic was your favorite that was covered in an episode of 7th Heaven? - Did anyone of you ever had a medical emergency of any type while filming the show? How did you react in such an emergency event? - Does anyone of you have a 7th Heaven tattoo? Would you consider doing that for the future? - And a crazy random question: What is your favorite food/cuisine? Has your taste changed through the years? Is Catherine really coming soon to the podcast? That is A-MAZ-ING. I love her (and she is the best mother role ever portrayed on TV. I am serious). Her experiences on the show must be so different from yours, and she can add so much to the podcast. Can't wait for that. I really hope to see more Camden members in the show, and also guests in future episodes of the podcast. I would love to see Tyler Hoechlin or Ashlee Simpson, Rachel Blanchard or Haylie Duff. I wonder if they remember 7th Heaven fondly even if their careers grew much more past that show. ☺ I have written once again a lot, but it's OK. I really enjoyed this episode! Just love the whole atmosphere and evening and when you guys said Jordan lmao I started laughing so hard and the bank of Simon. And for Bev to say that she wouldn’t be with Kevin anymore I’m like noo they’re meant to be not Kevin and Roxanne lol. And it’s crazy that the girls who played your daughter are grown now and didn’t know they were twins till the show ended. And just hearing you guys talk about your families and what you guys are called by your kids it’s so surreal and sweet. Growing up, Lucy was always my favorite. As someone who doesn’t express emotion well, maybe I just admired Lucy being more like that. With that said though, what was most frustrating by far was how they infantilized Lucy and made her more of a caricature as the show went on. By about season 3-4, they had Lucy stepping up and taking on the mature and responsible sibling role and really developing into turning her big emotions outward to be more empathetic and thoughtful towards others. Then they got her with Kevin, and her role for the entire rest of the series was being jealous, insecure, and self-centered.

I was fine with how the older 3 Camdens ended up married with kids, but what bugged me most was that Martin and Ruthie didn't have a chance. I guess they really didn't want the Camden girls to be with single fathers because Mary didn't end up with Wilson and Ruthie didn't end up with Martin. Martin and Ruthie seemed like a good match though and would have loved to see more of that.

By the end of the show, Lucy had Savannah with news of one on the way. But I don’t remember Simon having kids yet.

The last episode David was on, was what was supposed to be the series finale season 10. The entire 10th season revolved around Simon "falling in love" with Rose and them getting married. The last episode of season 10 was the will they or won't they get married. Which they obviously didn't in the end. But throughout the season it seemed like Simon was starting to have feelings for his and Rose's friend Sandy(Haylie Duff). Sandy had a baby boy(Martin was the father). At the end of the episode it was alluded to that Simon and Sandy ended up together. So maybe that's why David thinks that Simon had a kid, because Sandy had a son? Or maybe he's confusing Simon with Martin? At the start of season 11, if I remember right, it was revealed that Sandy and Simon did try to date, but it didn't work out.

I think the implication in the season 10 finale was that Simon was the father of Sandy's baby, but because they got renewed for season 11, which Simon wasn't in, they kept Martin, who was in that season, as the father, and Simon remained childless. But since Simon was the only Camden having sex out of wedlock, he had more than one pregnancy scare.

When Bev said that Lucy wouldn't be with Kevin that made me sad. Lucy and Kevin were my favorite couple on the show. I loved Kevin's personality and it fit with Lucy

Kevin was a terrible character. I thought it was a bad match and very unrealistic. Controlling ape. He was always telling Lucy how she feels as if she can't think for herself. Very belittling. I don't know anything about George the actor. This is just about how they wrote Kevin.

Agree! I enjoyed their relationship the most and my favorite episodes revolve around their story. I can see why she would remember him having great chemistry with Roxanne…they did play out Lucy being jealous of her a lot. It is a consistent theme I noticed as I rewatched the episodes.
