Respected Ma'am....you talked about the publicity or fame which kashmiri songs did not receive.....No doubt Kashmiri songs are awesome but they are not as much famous as punjabi songs or other regional songs because only a few people know kashmiri and the rest are unable to understand the meaning of the lyrics and they find them uninteresting because people find interest in any field when they understand more things related to that field. Punjabi is very similar to hindi and most of the indian people know hindi so they understand punjabi songs more than kashmiri songs.
