As a new player to tekken, I gotta say… I don’t know what the hell your talking about

Sounds like a good opportunity to hit up the beginners' resources. :)

Excellent video, thank you for such an in-depth guide. Unrelated, but genuine question - as someone that comes from MK, how the hell do you guys memorise all these moves? It's extremely daunting to me.
@XiangsGaming3 жыл бұрын
You don't lol. You just learn the moves for the characters you play, and the most common moves for characters you'll see often. Unless you are ready to put in significant play and lab time with all characters, there will be moves you don't know or see so infrequently that you won't remember exactly how they work. I'm not a fan, but they've essentially made it a core feature at this point thanks to how many characters there are.

@@XiangsGaming I understand, thank you. Would you recommend Asuka for someone that's essentially new to playing Tekken competitively?
@XiangsGaming3 жыл бұрын
@@ak-jxrdy-7 I'm one of those people that thinks every character is perfectly fine for newer players. The only real difference is that each character is going to have different strengths and weakness that, if you don't know them, might make things seem tougher than they should be. As long as you stick to your character's lane, you'll be fine. So for Asuka, she's a defensive character, so those are the skills you should develop. If you're trying to rush people down with her, you'll probably struggle to get wins.
@ak-jxrdy-73 жыл бұрын
@@XiangsGaming I hear you. Seeing as that I'm just getting started, I think that I would benefit greatly from learning defense first. It also seems like her inputs aren't that crazy, so that's another plus. Thanks for taking the time, you've been really helpful. You deserve many more subscribers, I'll be sure to share your videos. Cheers.

When i first played asuka i hated her 1 since its so slow, but as i played her I realized that i can just poke the enemy to death with annoying lows and mids

I used Jun Kazama alot in Tag 2, is Asuka anything like her? Been in a character crisis since Jun isn't in 7
@ExtremeAcer Жыл бұрын
TTT2 Jun is very different from T7 Asuka, TTT Jun is the one that's one to one with modern Asuka

Asuka is the best for beginner player

Factually incorrect since asuka has the worst jab in the game, asuka is great for people who already or have practiced good defense
@canniman77762 жыл бұрын
I aint gonna lie, i'm only learning to play as Asuka due to Waifu reasons.
