why everyone says that this character is easy? her gameplan is literally about committing with launch punishable strings, reading the opponent and having good timing for counter hits her neutral game feels so hard everything is so linear and sidesteppable and she has really bad hitboxes on key pokes like df1 or db3 i played heihachi too and yeah, his combo are harder but heihachi's neutral game is mostly about random ff2 and broken jab strings, really chunky and extremely safe mids with enormous reward in ch and he's very hard for the opponent to sidestep, everything he does is safe... i used to hate asuka but now that im playing her... well you guys did your homework

Yeah I started playing her pokes like jabs in general are really bad. It feels like I’m forced to use untraditional moves in neutral or just spam her safe shit which doesn’t work

It's a coping mechanism, most people saying that get exposed by Asuka since she's very good at it.
