Wording really, for a second I though it was 26 pulls to hit pity after every 6* obtained since that is how pity works. The free 24 pulls is more of a 1 time thing and could be stated as a first time pity but then pity rates go back to 50 pulls after every 6* obtained.

As much as I care about which ops function better, at this point I have at least 2 maxed out boss killers and a dozen or so powerhouses. It's hard for me to admit that I'm at that level where I just roll for whichever one's art looks better or if there limited

Ive been sticking to this rule to all the games I play no matter what level I am. If they do not strike me then I will look at utility, so ur words are extremely wise.

Remember, if the unit isn’t suitable for you now, doesn’t mean it won’t be suitable for you later, especially if it’s one that’s near impossible to get in the future (aka limited). There’s always the option to borrow support to clear content and using guides for low rarity but the units you get stay with you forever.

Ever since pulling Nian together with Dusk in the event banner, I’ve been hooked on collecting anything related to them including skins, which makes me want to save a lot for Ling too. I was really overjoyed when they released Dusk skin, that is straight up Live2D, as well as giving Nian’s skin Live2D. I hope they do the same style for Ling!

Just an idea tho, although its nice that the order of the banners are based on priority, i think it ll be better to put them on their release order so if there are 2 banner we re interested, and they were released with short time range we can chose which one we will pull, and in the end video u can put the priority order in brief

I enjoyed the visual presentation of the video and how the content presented and wanted to provide you that feedback. I do agree with the assessment on it. I am personally mildly curious to see how well Fiametta S2 + Quarcus / Warfarin SP battery-ing would do for her, because the S2 does feel like it has a ton of potential attached to it. I am sad Blemishine is rated to lowly since I absolutely love the kit and cleared every single daily map at max risk in CC#6 with Blemishine in the group. I may try to do the same thing with Saileach in a later CC since Saileach seems to be a point of contention for a lot of people. I am of opinion that in general content and for those not wanting to use a brain, it's better to use one of the more straight forward flag bearers like Elysium and Myrtle - but the kit is so fascinating to look at and I personally want to use it to its fullest potential. The one critique I did want to state with the presentation is that I noticed some of the text on the bottom most line does take an abnormally long amount of time to reach the text line. I figure you have noticed that already and will correct in the future if you choose to continue this presentation style. The one thing that did pique my interest too was when you started to discuss the Doctor level and how it relates to progress in the game as a general level. I don't have anything else more to add to this particular train of thought at this time, but I did like that little analysis.

This content creator favors heavily on meta. A little niche and he shrugs it off as a 2nd rate too quickly instead of analyzing the Operator's real strengths. I found it obvious enough by just watching a couple of his videos.

@@nykofthesouth2571 that is true, but I do not mind that either. I am of opinion it's up to the individual players to determine what works and doesn't work for them. They should recognize which content creators speak directly about meta and which would go into greater depth of an operator regardless of meta status. Given the nature of this particular video being a general overview of the upcoming banners and how they rank in terms of meta, it is natural that a lot of the naunces attached to said operator would be glosses over.

Lings Placement should be higher because those thighs will keep you logging in every day and allow you to accumulate more resources to make your team stronger.

Ling is my most hyped new operator by far. Not only a top tier waifu but she's a summoner carry and I've been waiting for one of them since the game started. Scene and Magallan have their uses but they're generally not carries unless you're doing really early game stuff or you're one of those dudes with 200 IQ strats(which is not me). Plus she's got dragons. Who doesn't love dragons?

If your squad remains the same size, it's like you have 2 extra operators in your squad? Good for those stages when there are bosses that will one shot or disable your core units? Sounds like those summons are at least as strong as a mid tier operator.

@@pawacoteng They are not talking about the slots she takes in the squad, they are talking about the slots on the map itself. While playing, you probably noticed that on some maps you can have a limited count of operators during the battle at the same time. In CA-5 where you farm LMD its only 7 operators or so.

I'm missing Surtr and Saga, but I'll skip that banner. I have enough vanguards, and there's a good chance I'll end up with Flametail if I have to pull deep for NTR (lore > meta). There are always several friends with a built Surtr if I'm feeling lazy. Also missing Mountain, but I have loads of lane holders and DP is rarely a problem. I would rather focus on EnmityKnights, JusticeKnights, or SniperKnights Idol Squad (if Archetto ever comes home - preemptively got the skin). At this point, Ifrit is the existing character most missed from my roster. Nobody else can do what she does, and it comes in handy frequently enough. Hopefully she's a shoperator soon.

@@kyarumomochi5146 well considering that nearl and her family have 2 side story on them, and she Appear in another side story and in the main story i say Nearl Alter is one of the character with more lore in arknights, try comparing that with 6* like eyjafjalla,Archetto,Weendy,Thorns,Saga,Rosa and others, i say she has a lot of lore. Flametail isn't the worst but yeah she isn't the best.

There is pre-Ifrit, and then there's post-Ifrit. After being blessed by the Recruitment system with her, the first (and second, and third, and fourth...) thing I do on a new map is ask: "is there an Ifrit lane?" One of the more unique Ops, for sure.

so, i'll just pull with the free pulls on NTRK and go all out in Ling's banner because it has 3 character i really wanted. Ling obviously, Nian because i didn't pull on her banner because i'm saving for Bagpipe and W, and i only get Mudrock on Dusk Banner. and Fiametta, simply because i loved her art lol

Dang. I couldn't imagine dropping 2 years of effort for 1 unit. I actually didn't have SilverAsh for my first 6 months playing, but finally got him through Joint op during CC#0. Unless Ling is limited, I'd say don't drop account and wait for distinction shop.

The one I will pull on I've played for ~4 months (so it will be ~8 months by Ling release) Currently I have 17 E2 operators there and I play it with restriction of squad size limit of 6, that's why Ling is worth so much for me.

Nearl and Ling are the ones who interest me the most followed by Gnosis. Fartooth, Fiammetta, and Goldenglow are going to be the ones I skip. Passanger and Pallas are the only 6* I'm currently missing. Overall I"m not into meta or getting past 18 risk so Nearl and Ling get my undivided attention especially since Ling is a summoner my brain can most likely use.

I have Lee on CN, others have tested Lee, and no the disparity is nowhere close to Mountain initial judgement vs actual use - it's more like Lee going from bottom of the barrel 6* initially to slightly better than moody blues, but then with the introduction of modules that skyrocket said moody blues, Lee isn't in a great spot.

Fiametta is great combined with archetto since she gives her 1sp per 2,5 second. Also her 1 skill is great I don't know why is nobody talking about it double attack +1 range for 10 sp it's a great skill she can get up to 2,5k damage with her passive. And nearl will be definetly the best out of these operators so much utility and with skill1 is practically single block blaze.

Info on Fiametta here is strictly false. She does shoot constantly with S3, as seen in a lot of gameplay footage that has been uploaded since her release. Even when nothing is within the 3x3 aoe range she keeps shooting. In practice that doesn't matter in the slightest, since it is not like shooting empty ground is gonna increase DPS in some way. But I just wanted to point it out.

dont forget that blemi enables mudrock to charge her S2 as if it was an offensive skill, blemi+mudrock+saria has been probably my most used defender pick and frees up pretty much all spots a medic would use unless absolutely needed

That's why I'm so fking torn. This will prob be Blemi's last appearance for at least another year, but after the total disaster that was my Wet Ch'en pulls (cleaned out, needed to 300 buy her), I'm not betting ANYTHING on any banner aside from Limiteds any more. It's impossible to get to 300 as a monthly $5er, but I can get to around 270-280. And that's where I'll wager everything. Blemi will transform my 2nd 6* ever pulled, but even that can not supercede my must-get of W and Rosmontis.

Also, it continues to occur to me that people seriously underrates Phantom as people seem to think that all he does is Frd and nothing else interesting. I think I will just go for pity once in Nearl alter banner for 2 reasons, first I am completely broke, for some reason (gambling addiction) I cannot keep myself from pulling unless the banner sucks. Second I don't mind getting either one, I honestly prefer Flametail design over Neal Alter but she is limited so I would not mind getting her. After that, I will probably skip everything except that banner that gives you a 6 star you don't have (Maybe do like a 10 pull in mountain banner or some other standard banner because I still lack a lot of core operators) and then go for 2 6 stars on Ling banner, the rest will be for Fiametta,

Im around lvl 65, 6* ops Thorns, Chalter, Saria, Bagpipe, Mudrock, Angelina, Shining. I feel like I have some real powerhouses and the units I borrow by far the most are Skalter, Eyja, Ifrit and Surtr (got +2 Pot Thorns from 80 pulls Eyja banner, thanks game). I think I'll try going for Joint Operation for Surtr, but Im not sure, is NTR Knight a comparable boss killer to Surtr? Then I should probably go for pity at least on the NTR banner. She seems to kinda compliment Chalter better (having CC and physical dmg), and seems more versatile, even S1 is usable. But then again Schwarz on Joint Operations could even be better?? Or should I just pick up Saileach, because I have a pretty high DP cost squad and no Elysium Or maybe they'll just give us an Ifrit or Surtr banner randomly, just like Eyja recently. That'd for sure make matters more difficult for me

I agree with almost everything you said except I think blemishine might be above fartooth since there are more operator with sleep skill so her hitting sleep enemy + good healing skill got some potential.

It's up to preference mainly, there's a certain point wherein flashy new pseudometa units don't do much for your general stage clears and you'd rather have a gimmick niche unit, which Ling is the epitome of.

Does ling dragon power crept Mon3tr? I have Kal'tsit and I find people say that ling is better summoner and NTR knight is better for true damage. What is your opinion?

Ntrk S3 is hot garbage relative to Kal S3. Kal is the best source of true damage in the game by a fairly substantial margin. Kal is a very useful unit in a generic 13slot rarity abuse comp, Ling is not. In terms of low-op capabilities, Ling is stronger by virtue of being a summoner, but everywhere else, Kal has the upper hand.

There is a video somewhere comparing them, basically, Ling summon is better when there is a bunch of mobs because the attacks are AOE and Most3r is a lot better when it comes to single-target damage.

@@rayreiii3501 Pretty sure he/she used S2 for killing the huge group of slugs, Monst3r leaked a lot, meanwhile, Ling's non evolved dragon killed them all. Of course, maybe in different situations, Monst3r could perform better but I think Ling does have a little bit of an upper hand against big groups of (kinda weak) mobs. But I agree that Mosn3r is overall better.

@@Scj10 Agreed, I have yet to see a fair comparison between two.but one thing is sure ling has upper hand in terms of AOE guard when fighting small mobs. But in terms of survivability against Elite mobs Mon3tr outclasses ling because he can actually be healed during the battle and if he dies he can back in 25 sec but her dragons take 50 sec to build. But I can she both of these summoner working together on the battlefield.

At 3:15, doesn't this result in a 12× attack_scale for targets inbetween the left of the red zone and the yellow zone to the right of the middle tile since their hitbox will overlap with another AoE?

Tried this. Hit box apparently is counted by the operator hitting the enemy, not hit box. Even with tile slicing, the damage counter is rounded towards the closest to the blue box. The only operator i know that able to double attack Glitch is Schwarz crit proc (when your bullet almost hit the enemy, use the skill so the bullet has the same crit properties).

Man so many great banners near each other. Would you recommend to pull for Saileach if players don't have Elysium? But they have only Myrtle? Because, that's my situation, and based on the upcoming banners, none have Elysium as rate up 5* :(

Just pull it of you want and have more resource like me(60k orundum including OP), I have both myrtle and Elysium but still pull for her. I'm still not have any dps operator like surtr, silverash, Ch'en alter and kal'tsit. I have so much Vanguard i don't know why i like to colection all Vanguard even i have saga, Siege, bagpipe and more. Flametail coming soon but i definitely Will get her later on nearl alter banner

Hello, i have 2 questions: 1. Where does Ling rank in your past potential tier list? im gonna do 300 pulls on her banner to spark dusk and want to know if she has any priority on potentials compared to my skalter pot 4 (would be pot 5 if i use the red cert pot). Of course the desicion will be made after the pulls. 2. Regarding JO, i have arguably the 2 best ops from that banner (Surtr and Phantom both Pot 2), but since their pots are so good do you recommend to still pull on that banner? Thanks!

Ling's pots are probably worth more most other units if you're actually constantly using her given in other situations you have a 13slot squad and potentials marginally increase a subset of that squad, but Ling is commonly used solo so you're improving the entire squad. Not close to Bag P5 though, and I wouldn't recommend whaling for it. Again, how much one cares about potentials isn't something I can categorically advise on, but if you have majority of the units in the game and don't really care for Gnosis/GG/Fiam, go for it.

ntrk pity is essentially free since you get ori from event & login and stuff, not a bad idea to save like 50 pulls now for ntrk (potentially 2 pities) and keep the rest for jo5

Im most mad about how you present goldenglow. What do you mean she is heavily reliant on map design. She has a global range she can attack anywhere on the map. And saying s2 and s1 as the preferred skill choice over s3 is weird. If you comparing the pure dps that she deals with normal attack.. sure s3 have less dps than her other skill... but you forgot to mention her talent. Her drones have a 10% cgqnce to explode and deals huge aoe arts damge... 300% aoe art damage. Sure its a small chance.. but she got 3 drones! She also change target when the drones explode!! So we dont have to worry her drones stuck on a huge hp enemy. Her s3 sp cost is exactly the same with s1 on m3. So idk why you said her s1 is more rotatable. She can quickly erase the crowd thats on her tile but when the crowds gone she wont be attacking anyone... but her s3 will allow her to continue attacking something for the duration of the skill

Radiant Nearl is a limited character, so the other limited operators such as W will appear on her banner, although at a much lower drop chance. Alternatively to fully submitting to RNG, if you pull enough on the banner (about 300 pulls), you can specifically buy any limited operators from the shop.

@@SakuraYuki-x Offrate limited operators on Nealter banner will be W and Rosmontis so no skalter. There is no known reapear of Skalter or Chalter. Dusk and Nian will be offrates on Ling banner.
