1 thing about the sniper mode: the standard key bind for the sniper mode is actually mouse 2 (right click), I started playing pc several weeks ago and made that mistake, I asked the people in discord who played blitz on pc more. They told me to change sniper mode to mouse 3 (scroll) and now right mouse can be used for moving the camera while locking your turret

Tbh, I didn’t start to improve until I hit t6 because Supremacy Mode is introduced (making hvy/med paths relevant), the introduction of one-shot derp vehicles (KV2, SU-100Y), and the need to use hard cover. Most t5 & below matches are more akin to a demolition derby than a tactical game

@@MartinDogger my problem I'm having in lights is when I go to a position that I know I'm needed then I end up hit point trading with the enemy then I don't last long. The corner of Port Bay is an example. I don't know if I should push the enemy lights or not. If I leave the position then I'm leaving my team open for crossfire.

Yea I have seen it too. It is for people, who come to game after they see advertisement and install it, but never have played almost any game. I think wargaming realised that they have too many new players after chrismas, who ruin game for experienced players.

Approximately 7:34, Tank Legion has this feature...in part because you can call in air strikes...but it’s very helpful, especially when playing on a mobile phone

WG content is always more focused on the marketing side rather than in learning... but that's why we all are looking for other sources, are we not? There are many tutorials out there but they are mainly explaining the same basics over and over and they tend to skip really important things. I would really appreciate having more high quality tutorials!!!!

Here's a crazy idea Wargaming. Find a person who plays the game well, is a professional teacher, enjoys the game, most of the time and gives a crap. Actually offer to pay that person a reasonable wage, you know like real money, to make tutorials for the game. Now where could they find such a person, is it that difficult or are they just cheap ?

I've only been playing for 3 months. Of all the game mechanics in WoTB, it's the spotting mechanics that took me a while to fully understand. Hulldown and sidescraping are pretty straightforward concepts. But it's the spotting mechanics that really screwed me over in the beginning.

Half of the players on the NA server will not watch this nor understand because they don't speak English. They should have a Spanish narration alternative... And Portuguese. I did exactly what you advise, I stayed in lower tiers till I learned the mechanics and tactics of this game.. this is the most important piece of advice!

I agree better training video's needed. Droodles started a play for free line to video, I thought that was going to be good, but he is not really doing much teaching with it. Some thing like that more geared to teaching I think would be really good. Playing through the first 5 tier tanks, teaching basics, explaining the choices and offering advice, geared to the new players!

I give advice about rest. If you play a long time at once just make pause between games. Go smoke, drink coffe or go walk with your dog.Your brain need pause to stay be ready to action in other case your skill go down. :) If you faster be mad, if others players make you mad, if your reaction time go down that mean you nide some rest, pause in game even for short time. ;)

The funny thing is that we still will see newer players with a high tier premium , kekw, that’s blitz nowadays in a nutshell. However I can’t complain about that since I’m among that category kekw. I made a second account on Eu where I bought the k91 ( silly flex: I immediately scored #2 stat wise across Eu and Na) and I feel dirty. In other words it kinda become part of the game sadly but it’s true. I’m sure I’m speaking for a lot of other players as well.

I found this out the hard way my settings for months was on high like the sensitivity it was flat out 100% Iv turned it down to half and I’m getting mastery’s now it’s completely changed my gameplay honest I told my tanker m8s and it’s helped them to , I was playing like that for 12 months and I could nt play fast tanks , I thought it was my playing and it wasn’t please check your setting lads it helps to turn stuff down especially sensitivity . Please check yours

I don't blame them at all because it is how the things are nowadays. You can get to higher tiers quickly using all sorts of boosters and certificates and let's be honest, would you choose not to get a bigger tank if you had the chance?

light tanks have no armour Me: LTTB has 75mm of front slope plate, which is equal to 128mm on flat ground, some tier 6 will struggle to pen its upper plate T-54 twilight..... around 200mm on the turret.....

Having re watched the WG video - I have to totally agree with Martin ! WG - hi new players - everyone else ignore this also we will use some very specific terms and present you with lots of incomplete information generalising a thousand different tanks maps situations all in to one but show you some very poor examples - for instance the lower glaisis on this tank can be penetrated but I will not explain what a glaisis is and the image show can be penetrated in at least three key areas also did I say that the areas that can’t be penned oh I’ll abbreviate words you don’t know too and then I’ll show you the top tanks but not in a real situation where everyone is very polite and only aims to miss or bounce and sit in a place to be easily shot no I have not taken a breath so also these tanks are something you get easily then hard but I will not tell you about how this is done in any concise way so what we should have done is looked at some of the KZbinrs that have done tutorials and broke the training in to a series that would be useful but as they say Rome wasn’t burnt in a day and so forth so . . . . . . .

I like your videos Martin. Everyone wants to be a better player. Beginners need more guidance, but is it a job for WG? Look on YT, so many tutorials. When I started 5 years ago I learned all the basics from Bushka’s tutorials. Actually that is what you need as beginner. Not the commented replay video’s I like to watch now ;)

First to say I think war gaming were well intentioned here at least, something is better than nothing. The trouble is that this is a mish mash of concepts, ideas and skills in no way subdivided. The topics should be divided up into separate videos and even within this overview. They could have added links to more in depth videos on the separate topics. So really the whole thing is illogical. I’m still chuckling that they use the Biscuit and a Kv1 with the DRP gun as examples 😂😂😂 They need to get the CCs working on this

It will be better when they will bring that what was before 5.5 update and make from tier 2 50%-75% crew instead of 100% than players will lern a bit more. Same as more exp needed from tier 2-to 5 for modules and tanks. I will go a bit forward and make some kind of noob protection gates. For example to unlock tier 8+ you have to play 500-1000 battles and rating will be from tier 8. For tier 10 you will need 1000-2000 battles. Yes I know wg will never do something like that. It will be funny when they will make repair time after battle for tanks. For exaple from tier 5 when your tank will be dmg or destroy you could have option to repair it instead or w8 up to 1h but it will lower repair cost after battle or will just give back some to you. Mby it will prevent people from yolo.

You see, when I first started blitz, some online forum suggested to watch bushka, sk8xtrm to learn the mechanic and the knowledge. Nowadays just children and noobs that are too lazy or think too smart of themselves and decide not to watch it, cuz I'm good and meadsy stupid. All just grind fast for tier 10, no need experience just for fun, and now this kind of tutorial are just useless, nowadays tier 10 are playing like tier 5. For instance, I got a fv183 who died immediately cuz me a st1 follow the whole team to dessert in oasis palm while he stay on the camping spot getting rush by 4 heavies, and kept call me heavy noon. Instead this heavy carry the whole game and win in a 1V2 alone.

Everything is great. Just to the point where "unskilled" players should stay at tier IV-V. Play tier IV and get punished by the T1 Heavy. Play tier V and get wrecked by KV-2. Play tier VI and cry about Annihilator and Smasher. Only tier VII is playable after tier III, in my opinion. I just don't find it suitable from a "skilled" player to be asked to play lower tier when the first thing he will do is to take his derp lower tier tank and have fun from "derping" me. I say no, thank you. Otherwise cool videos. Enjoy watching them, respect.

Forget tutorials....any crap player can improve their win rate by 10% by just buying one of the cheat OP cartoon tanks. No incentive to learn and improve when you can buy wins.
