Very bold of Bethesda, a developer who's games are universally described as being very good at well crafted open worlds and roleplaying as your own custom character, to make a game where you don't really make or roleplay your own character but can explore a well crafted world (fallout 4) and to make their next game have where you can roleplay your own custom character but none of the thousands of worlds are crafted (Starfield). Very excited for Elder Scrolls 6 after 12 years of playing Skyrim.

I suppose my colleague said it best in his Starfield review: It's a mile wide, but an inch deep. Scope isn't everything if there's no depth. Whole damn game is Bethesda Beige™, so planets don't feel alien, they feel dead. This works for the Mojave wasteland, not so much for a game with 1,000 planets.

You guys do know when you land at a random point on a planet the area generates this way so you can make an outpost. The fun in this game is found in/from the cities and landmarks on planets you can see and land at.

@@willcooper8028 That’s why there are major cities spread all over the universe on different planets. Like it literally takes 10-15 seconds AT MOST to get from one city to another. And if its a brand new place at most a minute if you include the running to get inside the city. Its literally the same if not better than Skyrim and Fallout load times. It’s a Bethesda game through and through… I am getting hit with massive nostalgia playing it

I found the fun it is located on a planet called Nirn on the continent of Tamriel. they have dragons, divers species, actual powerful gods, Giants, magic and much, much more.

Started playing Fallout 76 with my lady after watching Fallout TV show and now giving Starfield another chance and just can’t. What happened to Bethesda? It was borderline iffy in Fallout 4/76 but Starfall nailed the casket shut lol
