"Hey, my friend, don’t take this comment as disrespectful, but I’ve always copied your build and was losing a lot of games. However, after a coaching session with a Challenger Evelynn player, he told me that Rabadon isn’t always the best item after building Lich Bane and Mejai. He said Banshee’s Veil as the third item is better. I started using it and began winning way more games. Sometimes, I even built Banshee’s Veil as the first item against champions like Kayn, Annie, and Lux, and it worked-I won the match. My build was Banshee’s Veil, Mejai, and Lich Bane. A few minutes ago, I played against a Kassadin who was 15/5 at 20 minutes. My mid-laner, playing Swain, was 2/14. So I built Lich Bane, Banshee’s Veil, and Mejai. But Kassadin was killing me like nothing. I built Void Staff and had to make a decision: either build Rabadon as the last item and still die easily to Kassadin or build Force of Nature. In the end, Kassadin, who was 25/6, came to kill me but didn’t one-shot me. I killed him even with fewer items because I survived his damage thanks to Force of Nature and won the game. Hey, I'm pretty sure the build isn't the only thing that have lost you these games, with all due my respect. 2. I don't always build Rabadon's after lich bane & Mejai's. 3. Sometimes indeed Banshee's veil is better as third item for sure. I do build it sometimes, also I'm pretty sure they're such a videos where I do it too. 4. Building Banshee's Veil as the first item on Eve is fundamentally wrong and in my opinion trying to compensate for a lack of skill. Winning such a matches doesn't directly correlate with why you've won or lost the game. 5. In the Kassading game I still think what you've built is fundamentally wrong - you're an assassin - your job is to be able to kill and one shot people, even Kassadin, not to build tank so you can survive longer against him and tank his damage. You catch people & kill them, you don't get caught so you have to tank their damage. The Banshee's veil makes Eve's game much easier, I look at it as pretty much as "bike support wheels", indeed in some games it can be super handy and go to item, but generally against lots of ap champs and champs with lots of cc like hooks, stuns etc., where if you get caught by 1 cc ability you get cc chained and die. However if you play good enough and properly you should never get caught & need a banshee to make up for that mistake, obviously it's very difficult in some games. I do have games where I rush mejai's and then lich bane/ banshee's because I get super ahead from the start, I have plenty of damage so I get some utility from the banshee's to preserve my mejai's stacks. They're probably such a videos on the channel as well. I didn't meant to offend you or something, just shared my point of view on that topic and hopefully it helps you get a better understanding of the game and how these things work.

@@embraceagony4495 I made this build for the first time just because my Swain was 2/14 at 20 minutes into the game, and Kassadin had 15 kills in 20 minutes, super fed. He kept chasing me in the jungle, and it was hard not to get caught. My team was also struggling to ward in this match. If I had focused on damage, I would definitely have lost.

They'll be pretty good, should make her feel strong, cuz now if she's behind to the enemies and they get the boots enchantments she feels pretty weak and very hard to kill people with. The more R damage should fix that hopefully.

It has higher win rate and it's stronger when it comes to fighting - providing more damage and longer lasting cc if you can hit the charm. Which against some champs is a huge thing - against ADCs, or champs with dashes, escapes - champs like master yi, ekko, Vlad, often if you charm them you can one shot them so maxing W is better, cuz gives you more time and damage. E is just the traditional more consistent and popular max. It's equally good every game. As for the W it's better in the cases I mentioned even in general it's better but you have to actually use it and hit your charms to get the use out of it, that's why it's less consistent. But you don't lose much damage from not maxing E.

can I ask why you max w second? is it just better than e or is it because of certain situations. Also, about objectives are they not as worth getting than farming as evelynn. I know new s15 came out with the system of feats of strength (which involves the epic monsters) so Im just a bit confused as well as which epic monsters are worth getting (grubs, drake, rift).

Heya I'll answer briefly on your first question, for more detailed answer check the comments of my recent videos. W is stronger when it comes to fighting, it has higher win rate, but you have to charm people. E is more consistent, more traditional and popular that's why most people go for it. Last season/patch the farming and being efficient with your camps was >> than early objectives for sure. After the changes this season and new split however with the boots enchantments it depends, you should still prioritise camps and being efficient with them else you fall behind, but if you ignore all the objectives and give the enemies this advantage for free is quite bad. Currently I haven't played much but I prioritise camps and also look to get objectives/deny enemies getting the fleets of strength for free, however it's quite hard and often you have to sacrifice your efficiency with farming which is bad (that's due to enemies getting first blood for free). However on the next patch when they change it from first blood to first three kills it should be easier and allow you to prioritise your camps and be way more efficient with them than now if you try to get the fleets of strength when enemies have a first blood. Hopefully I explained it well and clear enough but the only reason to do early objectives is the fleets of strength, else prioritising your camps is way more important, since it's your primary source of gold and exp.

She's good, however games can get stomped and snowballed way sooner and she can get much weaker sooner if enemies gets the boots enchantments. I haven't played enough yet still, but will do and will do a gameplay videos

I have a question: how do you pick what items to build? I find myself struggling with this all the time. Are there any specific "indicators" that tell you what you need to do better against enemies etc.? Also is Nashor's Tooth ever good on eve?

Heya, nashors tooth is a bad and not that suitable item for Evelynn. She has a few core items like lich dark seal, bane, rabadons, boots the rest of the items are pretty much the same - void staff, Shadowflame, banshee's/mejai's. Only the order in which you build them is situational and changes depending on the enemy champs and what they build. If they have a lot of cc and magic damage banshee's is good. If you need as much damage as possible and they're not building magic resistance - Shadowflame is good. If you need more damage and the enemies are stacking magic resistance - void staff.

Very hard, unless you manage to get insanely fed - enough to kill people you can't really carry such a games.

Not every game is winnable, but your botlane wont always be 0/30 and blaming it on others wont rank you up, focus on what you can improve

Depends, often no, cuz you need that mobility and magic penetration, else you'll have harder time killing people, also that 2second delay of the storm surge's active isn't very suitable on Eve. It makes her kill people slower.
