Works very well on the 2016 LT V6 , had a glitch if you play the google maps and the videos in same time , you can watch video while you driving

Your instructions have been very helpful with other subjects and I really appreciate them. I have 2017 Camaro SS1 convertible. I just don't see much use for this though since it can't play while moving i.e. to entertain a passenger etc. Also, the limit of 720p means you have to know what you are doing to create the video. Thanks for explaining it though.

The software for the 7 inch screen is so much smoother strangely. The 8 inch has terrible firmware for some reason.

Thanks for this info brother! I used a thumb drive with a movie 'Hell or High Water' on it and the movie started up and was full screen, beautiful picture but I had no sound. Tried it a couple of times with the same results. I'm going to try another movie and see if it makes a difference at all. I do have sound on my laptop so not sure what's going on but this is a great feature when just chilling.

I have tried to do it in my 2017, and there no way to get it working. I tried 16 gb flash drive, Mp4, 720p. I already tried with multiple videos/resolutions and nothing and there no information on the 2017 owner's manual compared to the 2016 manual.

I just found out that GM disabled the option for newer models. The menu structure is still there for the 2017, but the 2017 cannot play videos

Ok, from what a dealer said it only worked on vehicles up to 2016, years after that are not supported. I'd love someone to prove me wrong because I really wanted this feature to work. I'm formatted at Fat32 on a 32gb usb stick, it saw all my music no problem.

Yes there is. I have an 1LT and I got it added to it at the dealership but keep in mind it will only be the doors and floor lighting , the light strip around the radio will stay white. they call it “spectrum lighting” and they will program the option onto your console.

Demo mode option is under the settings of your Myrick system. I don't have my car currently to outline the selection flow, but it is there.

+BIGJ3871 Android Auto is only available in the LT with the 7" display currently. GM is planning a Spring update in March that will add Android Auto to the SS. You will need to go to the dealer to get the update.
