For Kai, it's mainly because he's the center. He's also the trainee that's already been chosen to be in a debut team since he started becoming a trainee in sm (sm divided the trainees under many categories, debut team basically the trainees are confirmed to debut in any upcoming project). When they officially started 'EXO' project, Kai was the first member selected by the company. Hence, why they introduced him first.

Both Kai and Sehun co-choreographed a lot of exo's choreographies. Kai co-choreographed all the predebut teasers that he participated in. (exo had 23 predebut teasers, and Kai was in 11 of them)

Yes, Lay has the most solo works among the members,. Followed by Baekhyun and Chen, each has 4 mini albums and a lot of OSTs and collaborations. Kai has 3 mini albums. Suho has 2 mini albums, and DO is releasing his 2nd mini album NOW! The first pre-release song "I Do" just dropped 11 hours ago. Kai actually had the least solo works among exo until 2020(other than Sehun). He had like 2l3 songs where he promote only for concert tours. You couldn't even find them on the spotify if exo didn't release a concert album. And still, he doesn't have much solo work compared to other members still. Like everyone else other than Sekai have osts and collabs even without debuting as soloist.

kai has three solo mini albums, KAI (2020), PEACHES (2021), and ROVER (2023) also it's pronounced "jong---in" not with a "j" i think chen has 3 minis, as well as baekhyun, so those members are equal 58:16 they are only a few months apart

Sehun got scouted at 14 for his amazing visuals while he was eating at a mall lol and in the start he thought it was a scam and was avoiding the company but they kept trying to reach him But as far as dancing he was pretty good from the start

haha it was because kokobop was so overplayed that summer, im sure the members were sick of it too. but i love it you should definitely check it out, it was the first exo song i heard :) also the "g" in korean words is never prounounced as "j". so kai is "jong-in"
