Lorraine heath is just. Freaking. Amazing. I am such a huge fan. I have read all of her books. Her plot twists never ceases to amaze me

I began reading Lorraine Heath when she was writing her western/Americana historicals back in the 90's. Sweet Lullaby, Parting Gifts, Always to Remember, and Texas Destiny are all-time favorites. Her English historicals have always been hit-or-miss with me. Very meh. But love to see your enthusiasm for them!

Love all of her books so much and all the books you already talked about! Her Sins for All Seasons series is really great and leads into her newest Once Upon a Dukedom series. I really love her Texas series too! Oooh and you will probably really enjoy Waking up with the Duke (book 3 in her London’s Greatest Lovers series). The angst! 💜

I read Sweet Lullaby years ago, probably not long after it was published. Very sweet and full of angst. It's one that has always stuck with me. I read The Duchess Hunt because of your recommendation and loved it. I need to go read more of her backlist.

Definitely going to try some of the books you mentioned here. Somehow I've never gotten to her books even though I've been reading historical romances for so many years. I also recommend you try some lesser known authors likr Celeste Bradley, Galen Foley and Teresa Medeiros if you haven't already!

Lorraine Heath also wrote Amelia and the Outlaw, which is a YA book that I was OBSESSED with as a teen! I read it like 3 times! I love reading her adult books now!

I agree The Hellions of Havisham series is amazing my favorite of her series so far. I cried too reading "When the When the Marquess Falls" which seemed crazy because you know she was going to die. She is my favorite author. Only two book have disappointed me was "When a Duke Loves a Woman" and "The earl takes a fancy" they were just a bit dull. They are actually those are both in the same series "A Sins for All Seasons Novel" and are females leads that own shops. I think my favorite books is actually "Waking Up with the Duke" but I also loved "The Viscount and the Vixen" and "The Earl takes all" was right there too.

I just finished 'When The Duke is Wicked' yesterday. Today I'm half way through 'Once More My Darling Rogue' (my 30th Lorraine Heath book) and am really loving it! I actually haven't read their parent's stories, so I'm looking forward to those. Please read the 'Texas Trilogy', Jessica, it's fabulous. 😍 I've read the first two books in the 'Rogues in Texas' series too and enjoyed them, but the third book isn't published as an ebook, so I haven't read that. The 'Daughters of Fortune' series is excellent. I gave 5 stars to both Hard Lovin' Man and Smooth Talkin' Stranger - her contemporary duo. (2003 & 2004). Sweet Lullaby (1994 is also wonderful) as is 'Always to Remember' (1996) & 'The Gunslinger' (1999). I still have most of her newer books to read.

As a rule I’m so not picky but I noticed something. You referred to the heroine of one of the books as a widower. That’s not the word. As one myself, the wife is the widow and it’s the husband is known as widower.. I said it in a reply but since you love Lorraine Heath, you simply HAVE to read Parting Gifts and Always to Remember. She wrote them near the beginning of her writing career when she was writing western set romance books. I promise they are both two of the most beautiful, emotional, heartbreaking but with HEA’s books you will read. Serious! I read them both years ago when they were first published and they are still deeply imbedded in my heart.
