Hi, thanks for your video, it was very informative. I am hoping to move to downtown Moncton for the month of June for a job. I'm currently living in Brampton and may not be able to personally view the apartment before moving in. The owner of the apartment seems nice and promises to do a virtual tour with me but should I be worried about the possibility of scamming? Are there any tips you can share in moving forward?

Good information!! Question- How easy is it to get an appartment close to basic amenities and would you advice a family with young children to live close to downtown Moncton.
@o_oluwasanmi3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for stopping by Amaka. I'll say its fairly easy to get an apartment here depending on your budget and specific need. When I moved to moncton, I specifically wanted a ground floor condo because of my active kids, and I think we got that less than a month. Even though we generally advise people not to live close to downtown, I've seen some of my friends who did and never had a complain. So I'll say it's probably by choice. Hope this helps 😊

Hello Olu, thank you for your video. So, what about a room for rent video/info? I am thinking very seriously about travelling to Moncton for vacations, get around the city, check out the colleges and make sure this is where I want to bring my family, however, I can't seem to find a room for rent for 1 month. You might now a thing or two about this topic. Regards.

Hello Michael, an Airbnb will be your best option, give that a try. Thanks
@michaelfernando39203 жыл бұрын
@@o_oluwasanmi sure will, although, it is my last option because it is extremely expensive, specially if I am going to spend a month there. Thanks for the advice and your videos.

Hi, i love your videos. I'm thinking about moving to Moncton next year for a house purchase. Where is the black community over there? The reason i'm asking is because i don't want my child to be the only black kid at school. Which areas would you recommend to me?
@o_oluwasanmi3 жыл бұрын
Hi AlieYIN, thanks for stopping by. There is quite a number of blacks in Dieppe and Moncton North end. I've lived in dieppe and moncton and my son has friends who are people of color from the schools he has attended. That being said, people here are generally nice and don't mind making friends with you, irrespective of your color.

Hello Sister - Why did you choose to Rent a Apartment rather than Renting a House in Moncton, NB ??
@o_oluwasanmi3 жыл бұрын
Hi Chita, thanks for stopping by. At that time, that is what we saw available. Also, I didn't know houses can be somewhat affordable for new immigrants, though they are often more expensive than condos.

What are the best neighborhoods in Moncton? I mean safer, and close to the restaurants or nice schools.. things like that.. THX
@o_oluwasanmi3 жыл бұрын
Hi Juan, everywhere is pretty safe on moncton. I particularly love Dieppe, Moncton North end and Riverview. These places have great schools as well. And young families, which means your kids will have lots of friends. Downtown moncton is your go-to place for restaurants. But good thing is Moncton is small, so you can pretty much drive to where you want in 15 minutes. Hope this helps 😊
