Good info on both provinces. Though it's just not complete. You missed housing, real estate, security (most important), drugs and homelessness. Calgary and Edmonton are now slowly transforming into Toronto and Vancouver with many immigrating there. In a few years, low tax will be it's only lone main advantage. Talking of the future, NB can become more like AB in 5-10 years. Speaking of family friendly place, NB might be a better choice, especially for children to grow if you prefer a simple, slow and safe life. City life is not much of an advantage for most. Don't you think so?
